The staff were great. Booked the hotel for my daughter's dental surgery. So picked canad inn for the pool it looked great from the pictures. But the pool had lots of dirt and bugs floating in it. And when we got into our room it was so hot and really smelled like chlorine from the pool, we turned the air conditioner on before we went for supper came back and it didn't cool the room down much what so ever. We were gonna go to the front desk an try amd switch rooms but my toddler and newborn were so tired from the day the just passed out and we didn't want to pack then up and move them. I dont think we would stay again or recommend canad inn garden city.

The property was decent but dated. The air conditioning in the room was not maintained and the carpet in the stairwells needed replacement as they were repaired with duct tape and had a lot of stains. The staff was helpful but found myself waiting in line often before being served.

property is quite run down! in one of our rooms the tv was not working for 3 of the 6 days we were there! we called town about it and someone was suppose to look at it but never did! not acceptable! also stafff were slow to clean rooms and replenish towels etc!

Excellent place for the price in winnipeg and safe and quiet
