Very modern looking hotel. Clean room. Great on site restaurante for dinner. Complimentary toiletries. Also paid parking available in a public garage with direct access to hotel.

Great stay, helpful staff.

The amount of time that the staff was available was very limited. However, they were pleasant and helpful when there. Breakfast was only okay. Would have been nice to have berries for the yogurt. The room itself was very small and the bathroom was awkwardly laid out and also very small. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Good location.

Nice hotel close to the beach. Abit far from the old town if you plan to spend everyday around there

Sercotel Arena has a great location, and is overall a good mid-budget level place to stay. It's right on the main drag, and that can be good or bad - it's central to the various tourist locations but can also be loud with street noise. There was a good breakfast spread, I would say reasonable value for the $10 you pay, though being that close to outside options, I would next time choose to eat elsewhere. The staff are very nice, but seemed somewhat clueless on basic questions - for example, I asked if buses would accept my phone for contactless payments, and they said yes. (Narrator: they don't.) Maybe they thought I meant the local transit authority's card on my phone but that would be a strange intepretation for a tourist's question.) The lobby lights were too bright, the fridge didn't really get very cold - minor stuff really, but I would rather have paid a bit more and even stayed further from Casco Viejo.
