Parking was not easy. It was advertised as free parming and the explanation made it seem simple enough but finding free street parking in the area is not easy and you co stantly have to move your vehicles.

Great location and very helpful staff

This is more like university housing than anything else. The building is full of students and poorly maintained, with visitors following others into the entrance. Carpeting is stained, paint is chipping, blinds are broken, the a/c didn't work, the hallway smells. Communication with the Evonify owners was poor, and we had to go through Hotels.com to receive our access code/registration in time for our arrival and, ultimately, a refund. We left a few minutes after we entered the unit. Not recommended. It is not the sunny, pristine, and secure apartment that appears in the photos.

Good hotel next to the beach with kitchette

There are too many negatives to comment on but here are a few. The fact that this hotel was rated 9.2 on Expedia is an absolute joke. On top of the poor quality, the room was more expensive than any hotel I have ever stayed in whether it was the Four Seasons in Maui or the Mandarin Oriental in London or San Francisco. Some examples: - The hotel is nowhere near the beach or town. Make sure you understand that. - The pool was empty. - The showers near the pool (for cleaning up after the beach) only had cold water. - One of the few nice amenities of the hotel was free bicycles. The seats did not move on them and they had virtually flat tires. - The pipes in other rooms sounded like the roar of an engine. - the grout in the bathrooms had signs of mold. Make no mistake - this is not a high end hotel. It is an Extended Stay with exorbitant prices.

Rooms are fairly spacious and clean. Lobby area is nice. Complementary hot drinks nice touch but water is lukewarm by afternoon.pastries and biscuits were first come first served. Breakfast in the hotel was pretty good, Apryl was lovely to chat to. Very quiet at night but lots of homeless people on the street across the road just wandering around and going in the park to the side of the hotel. Never had an encounter but make us a little uneasy going out and about.
