The picture they use to advertise shows a roof top sitting are or bar which they do not have. Sometimes when I needed help with the front desk, their expression was as if I was bothering them. One time, they spoke Italian under their breath not knowing I understood what they said and it was insulting to me. The rooms were clean, but I had to ask for a hot kettle as they had no inform coffee maker or tea kettle. For the price, I would choose to stay at better hotel than to return.

Good location by the water bus stop on the Grand Canal and thankfully a bit away from the crowds of St. Marco district, which is easy 10-minute walk away. Big room, marble-everywhere bathroom, comfortable bed, strong AC, BUT the carpet in room 101 should have been replaced 10 years ago. Guessing it used be white, but now it is gray-ish and covered in dark stains all over. Oddly, a porter entered the room "to check the minibar inventory" while we were in the room resting in the afternoon. Why the inventory count was not done during the cleaning earlier in the day??... Not a 5-star hotel category.

Close to restaurants and walking distance from all the sights! The water taxi drops you off across the water so you do need to walk .5km to the hotel. Hotel itself was clean, breakfast was good!
