Stayed in room 107 and woke up with bed bug bites. Laundry facilities on site non functioning.

Love this historical venue and Victorian architecture. It is close to the Blennerhassett State Park and other points of interest in Parkersburg, West Virginia. We signed up for a historic tour of the building grounds that proved most interesting. Loved the restaurant and evening music entertainment. Indeed, we spent 4 hours dining, listening to music, and dancing in the beautiful floral grounds. It was a most beautiful and lovely stay.

Nice hotel. Doors were weird and did not go all the way to the floor. Breakfast was slim options.

I didn’t even stay the night I just decided to be out the money. This place is truly disgusting. So dirty and ghetto. The floors look like they haven’t been cleaned in months. The bath tub had rust spots and dirt in it. Streaks and handprints all over the mirrors. I bought the hotel so I could drink at a concert and be responsible. This place grossed me out so bad I changed my mind. This would be the place that would have bed bugs. Also when I went to check in I was completely ignored by the front desk. He was just lolly gagging instead of doing anything. I knew with the water damage right at the front door that it was going to be bad but it was horrible. Disgusting and I didn’t feel safe what so ever. Zero stars!!! Please avoid this place.

I liked the more private rooms they were a little more quiet. They should allow early check ins. The carpet is stained pretty bad in several spots in my room, the covers have multiple cigarette burns in them and kinda smell like smoke (this is a non smoking room) there also been 5 little bugs in the bathroom floor (3 dead) so I checked the bed and sheets and rest of the room thoroughly but no more bugs.
