"Simpson Bay Resort"
Little bit of everything at this motel. was nice to find full kitchen facilities in room and nearby store within the complex and yet several restaurants if that option is preferred. Several pools and decent beach as well.

"Cannot get any closer to the beach than this..."
I traveled with a friend to St. Maarten and stayed at Mary's Boon. We stayed in a Queen Beachfront room and the beach was about 20 feet from our room to the water, and the beach was clean, beautiful and amazing! We enjoyed the restaurant and the bar. We liked the swimming pool, however, it is a lot smaller in person than in the pictures. I have to tell you about the SPA though! The massage therapist told me to not be shy and to strip everything off, then she painted paraffin wax on my WHOLE body (and I mean my whole entire body) and then gave me a full body massage. If you are faint of heart about people touching you or being naked, don't do the spa. BUT, if you can just relax and go with it, it was an awesome experience. The resort is small, quaint and beautiful, but could use some upgrades. The staff are friendly and willing to help you. Also, this hotel is right next to the airport, so when I was swimming in the ocean, I could see these huge planes flying out and it was cool. We were in low season so the hotel had no planned activities or beach events, which was disappointing, but like I said, we went during the low season, which was nice because it wasn't too crowded. My suggestion to management would be to buy new bedspreads and pillow shams as the ones in our room looked on the older side. Also, it didn't bother us, but there was these little tiny ants on our kitchen counter. It might bother other guests though. My favorite staff person was John!!

The hotel is fine, internet fees are a disappointment. Buffet breakfast that at US$15 / person is average for the Dutch side of the island. I

"Right in the centre of the village"
The Commodore suites was placed in the centre of the village, so easy walk to many restaurants, so if this is what you want, it works well. You could walk to the beach but to get to the nice area of the beach a car is needed. It was directly above the supermarket, but we did not experience any noise. The rooms were a good size and the shower was a nice walk in rainshower type. The bedding was comfortable and what you would expect from this level of hotel. The furnishings were simple, no pictures on the walls, high ceilings and a big window so plenty of natural light. Had a good size fridge, small kitchenette which we did not use. The Staff were very helpful and prompt with any requests. One comment would be to get the cleaners to clean behind the TV stand, as things easily drop behind and indeed there was an assortment of rubbish that had fallen behind it. I would recommend this hotel to a friend, as its pleasant, and handy to all the shops, and restaurants.

"Beautiful view of Oyster Bay"
A slight reminder of the Amalfi coast in Italy. May not be beachside, but your can see for miles including the beach, coastline, sunrise, boat traffic, adjacent islands, etc.etc. It may not be for everyone, but it sure took us away from all our everyday life demands and worries. Isn't that what vacation destinations are supposed to do? Would not hesitate going back while we are still fit enough to walk hills, climb stairs, along with our mountain road driving skills.

Sint Maarten is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Sint Maarten, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Sint Maarten hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
