"Elevator was out "
The elevator was out for the whole stay. When we checked in they said they would have it fixed in couple of hours. Our room was on 4th floor and we had to carry our bags up the stairs and carry them down at check out.

We very much enjoyed our stay. This boutique size hotel was great. Not too "busy" with everything a process as found in the large all inclusive hotels. The meals were very good and the setting along the beach very nice. A different musical entertainer and or band each night with great selections of music. Very quiet at night for sleeping, comfortable bed and more than adequate appointments for making ones meals if one chose to do so. Well stocked, fair priced little grocery store on site. I wouldn't hesitate to return again. The town of Philipsburg just minutes away by car. Lots of shops and dining there. The only negative comment I can think of is check in is too long and too many cards for this and that. A 15% service charge is added to each dining bill with some waiters passing that off as a tax when it wasn't so you would tip again which I did for most of the week only to discover after asking at checkout what was included in the service charge. All in all very much enjoyed our stay

"Fabulous experience"
The hotel and the staff are absolutely fabulous. We stayed here for a week, Sunday - Saturday. We lucked out and had perfect sunny weather every single day. The hotel is nice, clean, worth the extra money you pay than staying at their sister hotel. The hotel is right on the cliff and the views are amazing. It is right next to the airport, which is what we wanted to do so we can see the planes. We were not annoyed at all by the sounds of the planes all day long. We actually looked forward to it. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Damien the bartender at the Sunset Lounge on the 4th floor is a must!!! He is truly amazing and exceptional. Everyone was. The rooms were spacious and clean, no complaints. Top shelf liquor always available. The restaurant, Azul, was delicious food every single time we ate there. And we were there for lunch and dinner nearly every day. Honestly cannot think of one bad thing to say about our stay. Our only wish was for them to have a fire pit for sitting out in the evening. Maybe they did somewhere else and we didn't see it. 100% would come back here. Thank you to everyone at the Sonesta Ocean Point!

"All inclusive hotel on beach"
Second stay so I knew the beach was small. There is a very nice, large beach a short walk from the hotel. Newly renovated room was very nice. Terrific view for a modest up-charge. Food was consistently excellent. Good service, maybe one concierge short in the lobby to answer questions. One fumble -- no music for the weekly party. A party with no music. Not good.

Sint Maarten is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Sint Maarten, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Sint Maarten hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
