The breakfast buffet has plenty of selections, and I specially like the wide array of pastries and dim sum. But I wonder why they never serve rice at all. I was assuming all Asian buffet would have rice on their buffet tables but there’s none.

Good hotel in nice location

Good location. Easy to get to. Beautiful lobby. Staff - check in was great, professional, respectful, polite; hostess at breakfast buffet also great, but some of the food station “chefs” were not polite and actually rude - omelet chef cut off my friend’s question mid-sentence; bar staff respectful and polite, but missed a drink order and had to redo; one of us wanted to buy a watch, but night front desk man was rude and said we had to check in am. Rooms were nice although WiFi did not work most of the first day. Just use the “public” wifi that is supposed to be for lobby area only one of the bell hops told us, so that is what we did. Shower leaked water, but room overall clean. We only stayed 2 nights so not a big deal. Breakfast buffet is discounted for hotel guests. First day was amazing. Second day not so great, actually underwhelming and made 2 of 3 of us have GI discomfort for most of the day. Might try another hotel if we return to Singapore since for the price paid, we expected more, esp the service.

The hotel is still a great stopover place. While dated it has been well maintained and remains a very good option for an affordable hotel in the orchard Road area. Walkable for all major malls in the area, near many great food and entertainment options. It remains my go to in that area.

Location is good. For Singapore hotel, room size was decent. The bed was firm and comfortable. The cleaning staff did great job. Quite old and run down. The bathroom and wardrobes need replacing. High time for a renovation

Every single sound is come into the room. I made a reservation for queen bed but 2 single bed close. The air conditioner is cool but the humidity is not under control. So my clothes and bed are wet. For 5days stay, I requested changing room. But there are no rooms for me. The breakfast was nice.

A fabulous hotel

Excellent very comfortable friendly hotel in prime location on Orchard Road . A major bonus was being able to check in and be given a room at 8am ( usually a fee but I was lucky and received this complimentary ) and to purchase late check out at 6pm Wonderful bonus when you arrive early in Singapore and depart just prior to midnight
