Nice stay!

My first room was so awful I didn’t sleep the first night. There were stains on the pillow cases, a ball of hair next to the tub, hair in the hand towel, my shoes stuck to the bathroom floor and there was a pair of dried up contact lenses on the night-stand. After complaining, I was given a new room. While the linens appeared to be cleaner, I didn’t feel comfortable and purchased my own pillowcases and a blanket at Target. The musty smell that came from the air register was so bad I bought Lysol to spray throughout the night. The door on my side of the adjoining room was missing. They had attached a hasp latch that was supposed to have a padlock on it to keep the door from being opened. No padlock was attached. Instead someone had rolled up a piece of paper to keep the latch from being opened. There was a deadbolt on the door but I was not able to confirm if it was keyed on both sides or just on mine. Whoever was in the room before me, also felt unsafe by rolling up the paper and putting it into the loop of the gasp latch. If the gasp latch isn’t needed why is it still attached. I’ve never been so disgusted and disappointed in a hotel.

I've stayed here many times over the years. Very quiet and peaceful. We enjoy the pool. Minutes away from a really nice restaurant (Diamond Grill).

There were termites or ants on night stands next to bed. They covered my water bottles and whatever else you put on the table. So, I was not able to use night stand. There was also a big cockroach in the room. I only seen one in my 4 night stay. The room was next to trees and I know insects are bad over summer so happy not to see any more. The room was clean and bed slept very well.

I booked the room, then once I got down to the motel they told me it was overbooked and that I didn't have a room, so now I have to figure out how to get my money back since I booked it tbe same afternoon I was gonna stay in it.
