Because of the pricing we assumed it would have been a cleaner environment to stay the night. The sheets were not changed on the bed as there were crumbs/dirt in it when we pulled the covers back. Huge blood stain on the mattress with no attempt to use a mattress cover to hide it - just a thin sheet. The kitchen is not stocked as stated. Very low quality pots, pans, utensils, only 7 butter knives, 2 spoons and no forks to eat with. With rodent droppings in the drawers and on dishes in cupboard. Floors not swept or washed. Bathroom was underwhelmingly dirty from multiple previous guest before us. It is a value of a $100 a night/all included. Also if you have small children or dogs beware that the owner drives around the property at unnecessarily high speeds for no apparent reason. Was not our favourite place to stay while in Cape Breton.
