Barcelo Funchal Oldtown
All was good, very comfortable bed, lovely and clean, things we topped up when required, our only niggle we had was the lighting made things difficult to read, other than that it was very comfortable.

Pestana Carlton Madeira Ocean Resort Hotel
The hotel was great. Good location with restaurants nearby and only a 10-15 min walk into the marina area. Pools were nice and the upgrades for the tennis area will be a good addition. Rooms were great - had a nice view of the ocean. Staff were very friendly and helpful in booking day trips.

The mountain view and Ocean views were impressive. Excellent service, food, great waiters - the best and so neat the city centre. Beautiful hotel and staff. Clean and great facilities with infinity pool and spa.

Hotel Madeira
The breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. Room was bright and clean. The hotel is right in the center with easy walking to everywhere you'd want to go. We were greated with a smile and checked out with a smile. We'd stay there again.

I always judge a hotel/b&b by its cleanliness and shower. Other than adjust the shower head as it wasn’t screwed on properly I was happy with the facilities and cleanliness. Staff friendly and kindly accommodated my request to have a late checkout from 12:00pm midday to 14:00pm.
