The hotel itself was good, rooms were as per usual and fairly clean however on the 2nd day my daughter found a bed bug crawling over the top of her bed spread which really put a damper on our trip. We are very cautious travellers and our luggage is always off the floors but it does leave one feeling squeamish. The hotel put us in a new room a couple doors down the hall but if it has bugs chances are they are throughout the hotel. They did offer us a discount on our room as well which was nice.

Line up for breakfast

Overall ok stay but loud with the kids running around in the hallways. Not necessarily the hotels fault but it went on way to late. Then the black out curtains refused to close properly. Also, there was several competitions in the city and surrounding areas (it's why we were staying there). Many of us has to be there before 8am. Having breakfast start at 7 was way to late. There even was a line up.

Our room was definitely a smoking room before. It was very stuffy so we turned the air conditioner on and it made it smell even worse like smoke. Our clothes even stunk when we got home.

Close proximity to baseball diamonds. Continental breakfast needs a boost. Very nice pool / hot tub area but never had time to use them. Nice to walk to Wendell Clarke’s Bar/Grill ( shares parking lot) and 10% discount offered for staying at hotel
