The Place was amazing

A beautifully maintained and historic hotel. Stepping through doors recall another quieter time. The rooms a spotless and the staff is very kind and helpful. The saxophone player in the library lounge was delightful

2nd trip here, every bit as amazing. The hotel rooms are really nice. Spacious with several options, well made furniture. The pool is excellent. No ice machine, but you can get bagged ice at front desk. Walkable or short drive (weather dep) to some great restaurants and close enough to downtown and Saguaro. Extended stay a night. I'd appreciate if Cielo's got a few more veg/vegan options for breakfast menu and buffet.

The room door wouldn't open sometimes, so I got locked in a few times, and the location isn't ideal. There is a homless park right next door.

Very clean rooms and friendly staff. They give you a free beer and coffee the next day which is a nice bonus.
