Tokyo Stay Sapporo Odori- first trip

In room washer and dryer was a nice amenity. Also, cooking top, and kitchen sink was nice. Shower was also great. Breakfast was nice, but a little variety (few different items that are rotated) may have been nice, especially when you staying several days. Complimentary coffee/tea, and ice cream was really a treat. Nice location to shopping and restaurants. Hour away from Chitose Airport.

Stayed at Tokyu Stay for 3 nights. The hotel is well located within 5 min walk of the main Tanukikoji Shopping Street, Mega Don Quijote, Parco, and the popular Garaku Soup Curry restaurant. There are of course plenty of other eateries nearby and Family Mart is just 2 doors away too. What impressed me more, were the hotel staff. They provided service with a lot of heart. My mum needed medical care during our stay and staff helped me to search for a clinic with English speaking staff. Before just recommending me to go to the clinic, they took the effort to ask what her ailment was, rung the clinics up to check, before recommending another clinic for us to go to. When we got back from the clinic, other staff (not involved with the clinic checks) asked if mum was feeling better. I’m totally impressed. Needless to say, I’ll definitely look to stay with Tokyu Stay when I next visit Hokkaido!

I have been going to Japan for more than 20 years now and this hotel is THE BEST hotel I have stayed in. The rooms are spacious and the staff are friendly and courteous. I am already planning my winter escape and I am considering staying again at this property.

Right next to a back alley shopping street and fairly close to Gaienmae station that is used by the busy Ginza line! Two stops from Shibuya by train and walkable without train, same for Roppongi and Omotesando. Area is relatively quiet. Facility is a bit old and cleanliness was a slight concern for Japan standards, helpful staff and everything else was great!
