The location was quiet and just off a main road on the east side of Fira. The property and grounds are well kept. Our suite was large, very nice bathroom and shower. Bedroom and living room large also. Minibar area with sink, coffe maker, toaster, refrigerator. Bottled water and coffee replenished every day. Parking area is small and limited. Short walk to anywhere in town. Dimitris was wonderful, very helpful with, making reservations for us for sailing trip and restaurants. Suggestions for things to do and see.

Altemar was incredible. Dimitrios at the front desk was super helpful with anything we could ask for, and has great suggestions for things to do. The location is great, just out of the way of the super busy Fira streets, but close enough to where you can walk to see the sunset. Would definitely visit again.

Dimitris met us when we arrived & let us check in at 9:30 am! The room was massive, very clean & comfortable. Dimitris helped us get a last minute island tour with an amazing tour guide (Ted). We only had 1day in Santorini, & the tour was a perfect way to see the highlights of the island. the hot tub, & view from our room were both great as well.

We had a great stay, our room was super comfortable. A 10 minute walk from the town which is super convenient. I was disappointed in the hair dryer - not great or even functional if you have long hair. Otherwise a great stay!

From the minute that we arrived we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. The views are stunning!! It is lovely and quiet even though it is only a short walk to the shops and restaurants. I loved the individual mini pools for each room. A great place to watch the sunrise which is just as beautiful as the sunsets. Dimitris was so helpful. Be sure to book your excursions with him as he will ensure a great experience. Overall we loved our stay!

This hotel is very convenient. It is located 5 minutes walking distance to Fira’s downtown, the rooms are nice and super clean, and the property is very good. Dimitri, the host, was amazing! He made as feel at home. I would definitely recommend for quality/benefit ratio in Santorini.

The property was not as per the images, rooms were nice and well appointed, but the host was arrogant and insisted the bathroom window be left open. View of a dirty big power pole and power cables infilront of the blue dome. We left within 2 hours

Dimitri, the manager, was amazing from the moment we got there till the day we left. He recommended many dinner places and desserts places that were all hits. He also suggested multiple excursions, we went with the cooking class, that all sounded fun! The area is a close walk to the “downtown” core, but isn’t too loud if you want to hang out in the hot tub in the evening. We can’t wait to return to Santorini to come back and stay at Altemar!
