Nice clean room, super resourceful when it comes to toiletries, didnt even have to use my own.

This people have water that smells like poop. Sewage water is what they use for water. Remnants of trash, sticky nastiness in drawers, air vents falling off ceilings. Random kids belts found? Candy stuck to floor? Trash wasn’t even taken out. Mind you I have kids that found these things as well. Oh and don’t even try and ask for them to refund you for their disgusting rental. They will give you the run around and then IGNORE YOU. Awful establishment and these people NEED TO BE SHUTDOWN.

We had a mixed stay at Galveston Beach Hotel. On the positive side, the location was super convenient, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and we really enjoyed the pool and having a balcony. In room refrigerator and microwave were great. The beds were also very comfortable! The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus, though it could definitely use more protein choices (more and more people are on "the shot" and cannot do sugar/carbs without significant issues). ​However, the hotel is showing its age and feeling a bit dilapidated. We noticed cracked plaster and buckling flooring, and our room door was damaged, making it a struggle to open and shut. Also, there's no carpet in the rooms (which might bother some), and the elevators are incredibly slow. ​Overall, it’s a decent beach hotel right on the seawall if you prioritize convenience and a good night's sleep, but the physical property is in need of some upkeep and updates.
