If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip.

the resort was beautiful. loved the pool the kitchen was very nice .very clean. Eiden was very nice and helpful...activity director Karen was awsome and very helpful . making sure all our activities were set up. due to mother nature the beach was not available but there were other beaches near by. karen booked us a tour to check out the Mayan ruins and cave tubing with lunch included. we had an awsome time.....Eddy and Mike {tour guides} were really cool and made sure everyone was comfortable and was having a great time ,they also were very knowledgeable

Our stay here was for our honeymoon and it was perfect! Very peaceful, relaxing and accommodating. The staff was great. Justin and Ervin were great in the kitchen and bar service. The food was excellent and they were able to meet my wife's gluten free diet with every meal. Manager Barry is great and has stories for days. It really felt like a family more than a staff!!

Overall, the apartment was tidy and clean, location was fine. Our big problem was that we needed laundry services, which the websites promise. But "the laundry machine" was broken and we didn't get any help from the staff in making other arrangements to get our clothes washed. I requested a discount from the credit card company, and the hotel did NOT fight it. So that was good. But we had to finish our trip with no clean clothes, which was a big minus.
