Nice clean room, conveniently located. Easy to park too. Some friendly staff. Non-fluorescent lights in the rooms would greatly improve the ambience! As would soap in the bathroom. The coffee in the lobby was excellent.

For a budget friendly place, this is a nice stop. You can tell they've done remodeling and the room looked nice. The walls needing some wiping down in certain spots but overall it was a good room if you dont plan on being in your room for a long time. We stopped in for 1 night and we're in the room for very little time. Coming back to Santa Cruz for a longer stay, we would choose to stay elsewhere. We did not use the pool and hot tub but did scope it out, both were clean and looked nice. My husband felt the hot tub water which he said was not hot enough and the jets did not turn on. The elevators were also out of order.

We had a nice stay, quiet and clean. Pool is not heated but hot tub was hot and clean. The surrounding area is not safe and highly trafficked. Parking was small and had limited space. Gave free coffee, fruit drinks, and snacks in lobby 24/7. Owner was very helpful and kept a good eye on the property. Little Ceasors and 7eleven are near by. Stay on property after dark, shady people and drug users lurk all over.

Staff is very nice. Walls are thin and you can hear everything going on outside. My room had no body wash in the dispenser, a fake lash stuck on the floor and the TV wouldn’t turn on. Luckily, I just needed a place to crash for a few hours.

A threat to health and safety - don't go here

This place was awful. To start they gave us a key to an occupied room. There was no safety lock on the door. The pool is not heated, it's freezing. The hot tubs jets were not working and both my son and I got a case of hot tub rash from the hot tub. Our skin burned for 2 days and we had to get a cream for it from the doctor. The room smelled like cigarettes. The shower had mold in it. The outlets next to the bed didn't work. There was not one moment in this place that I felt comfortable. I was worried about health and safety the entire time and for days afterwards. Don't go here. I read false reviews online that made this place sound inviting and luxurious. It is the exact opposite.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night and it was definitely not the greatest experience. There is no sound proofing whatsoever so we were able to hear noises from next door and upstairs. We could hear people’s TVs playing as well as when they would run water in the sink or bathtub. Our room had toiletries such as shampoo and hand soap, HOWEVER they were all empty! There was also an empty hand soap packaging stuffed behind a conditioner bottle. The man at the front desk was nice but had a really thick accent so it was hard to understand anything he was saying. The front desk is not open 24/7 and closes at 12:25AM. This was not specified online so my boyfriend and I had to drive really fast just to make it in time to spend the night after spending hours of driving from Oregon. The hotel is cute on the outside, but I would never stay here again.

The blankets are so thin, definitely bring your own. The rooms are not that big for some reason. The bathroom knob was backwards and the lock was on the outside. The pool heater is out until they get apart, but the hot tub was good. The fridge can barely fit anything. It was definitely a one time stay!

Room & Hotel was great! Definitely a gorgeous setting! Room was perfectly clean! Would definitely recommend the hot tub as pool water heater is currently broken! Also our door would not lock correctly and had to ask staff for help. Overall a good stay, would book again!
