I never stated here. Upon check in, night manager, Aaron, said they have no parking for my car, that it didn’t fit into parking. My car is a jeep with a roof rack, nothing unusual. Then, homeless person began telling me how he is coming to visit me. This hotel unlike advertised is not on the beach, it is near a freeway entrance and right next to gas station, it is surrounded by homeless, car noise and ocean or beach is nowhere to be found. Night manager asked for my ID, I told him it was in the car. He filled me to my car and began yelling at me that he doesn’t want to give me a room because I was upset and he didn’t like my tone. He refused service, because there is no parking and hotel lied in its advertising. I left, called Expedia asking for. Refund. Manager then lied to Expedia, told them I had no ID for check in. He scared me and my son, with his angry manners, then refused service and proceeded to lie about all of it to Expedia not to provide a refund owed.

Staff was friendly. The hotel itself was clearly older but very clean and maintained. The benefits was that it was a unique set up, large rooms, and charm. However, the drawbacks were that the pool was very small, the gym was little more than a closet, plumbing was questionable (smelly water), and the noise from other rooms and guests was a thing. Cute, but pricey.

Cozy hotel with spacious well-decorated rooms, nice pool, outdoor areas, and breakfast. 10min walk to the beach. We (2people) stayed for 3 nights and didn’t get any housekeeping (and nobody mentioned that they are going to skip it for the entire stay) - ran through 2 provided portions of K-cups coffee on the first morning, didn’t get anything else, and as got back to our rooms late, didn’t have time to ask. This is a good hotel, but for the amount of money they charge they should either provide “no housekeeping discount” or do the bare minimum and replenish the supplies.

Nice cozy hotel. We stayed in the standard suite, king bed. The room was spacious and really liked how clean it was. The only problem for me was the mattress was not comfortable. One side of the mattress was sinking in, kinda worn out. It’s time to switch that mattress to a new one! Friendly staff, free self parking and only 3 minutes from the beach. Overall great hotel, I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was phenomenal and the room upgrade was amazing. The hotel also offered breakfast and a happy hour, which was delightful. Parking on site was also sufficient. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Santa Barbara.

This is a lovely property with excellent staff. They made us feel welcomed from the start, including an update of our reservation to a sweet penthouse. They have bicycles at the property that you can take anywhere. The inn is close to the beach and a short bike ride from State street, the Funk Zone, a nature reserve, and the many beaches of beautiful Santa Barbara.

Beautiful, well maintained and clean property

We really enjoyed our stay! This is an exceptionally well maintained property, and it's clearly well managed. The King suite we stayed in was comfortable. Love that there are windows that can be opened for fresh air. Cute and clean pool, lovely seating areas, super convenient location. The only small complaints were no recycling bins anywhere!! So we ended up taking our recycling home with us. Also there could be more hooks or rods to hang up wet bathing suits and towels in the bathroom. That would be so easy- just put them on the back if the bathroom door and / or on the wall in the bathroom. We would totally return.

Couples getaway

Enjoyed a couples getaway for a few nights. Perfect location and within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and entertainment. Quaint hotel with nice pool and jacuzzi. Continental breakfast was a bonus as well as free parking, bike rentals and EV charging.
