Perfectly adequate!

Lovely place on the beach. Showing its age a bit, but perfectly adequate. Very friendly, helpful staff. Room sparsely furnished, no chairs for the desk, limited room in bathroom for stuff. Decent restaurant and close to town. Lots of live bands that don’t play too late. Seems to be a great place for the older crowd of which we fit in. Our king bed was actually two twins put together and you could feel the ridge between the two beds. For the price this was a great place. Balcony looks onto the ocean.

First Time Belize Travelers

The place was right on the beach. It has 2 pools, both cleaned daily. The beach is also cleaned daily, and walks right into the water. There is a beach bar and restraint on site, so very convenient. They play live music every other day(this may be bothersome for some as you can hear it from your room, but it never bothered us, we were able to relax and fall asleep no matter the noise level) The rooms are clean and well kept and the bed was comfortable. This is an older hotel, most in the area are, but it has been well maintained. The photos on hotels.com were accurate. The location was excellect. There is a coffee shop across the street, and they have lots of options to choose from coffee, latte, iced coffee, tea, smoothies, etc. There is plenty of parking onsite at the hotel for your golf cart as well. We had a great time in San Pedro, if you want a great Dive Place check out Island Divers at the Corona DelMar hotel, those guys were excellent! It was just me and my husband this trip, but we plan on coming back with our children, and we would be happy to stay at this hotel again. It was perfect for us and has everything you need. I hope this helps for anyone looking for a good place to stay. Oh and the price was amazing…you really can’t beat it

Beach bar/restaurant was nice. Locals and guests were there so you get a good feel for Ambergris Caye. Was there during storm Sara so couldn't really get a feel for the beach and pier but I would guess it would look fabulous under the sun. Staff helpful and friendly.

If you are younger and/or in better shape than me, it is convenient to town, restaurants and bars, but also quiet. It’s great for me bc I have a very small comfort zone anyway. The proximity to the beach is amazing! The pools are awesome! The staff was attentive and friendly!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Caribbean Villas. The staff were so nice, great customer service. They made arrangements for us to go on a snorkel trip, which was excellent. The restaurant was great. Shout out to Daniel and Yanni who were our servers during our stay. Our room was steps from the beach, wonderful!

Great staff. Very helpful and friendly. Clean and very well kept up. There was a lot of seaweed on the beach and the staff tried to keep ahead of it but it was very windy the week we were there.

Proximity to San Pedro and Dive facilities was good. Several food options nearby. While service was good the restaurant frequently ran out of some selections. The pier behind the hotel was in bad shape. Beach conditions were not good due to the accumulation of sea grass which was not the hotel's fault but seems like they could have a better means of clearing it. A couple guys with pitch forks and wheel barrels just couldn't keep up with the accumulation. But all things considered it was a beautiful Island and we had a great time.
