Lovely find for slightly uptown SLO

This place is lovely. Quiet rooms facing inward toward the pool. Tall pine trees all around the property. Amazing happy hour for two hours with free drinks! Lovely pool and courteous staff.

This was the first place we stopped on a very long road trip. It was the nicest of all the hotels we stayed at in this price range throughout California, Oregon, and Washington! 100% would return here if we go back to San Luis Obispo again. Beautiful pool, and very generous and delicious breakfast included.

Well priced quiet stay

It is a reasonably priced stay at an older hotel that could use a little sprucing up. While having the sink in a separate area from the shower and WC was a plus, having carpet in the sink area is not great. Beds and furnishings showed their age, though the cabinets had been re- painted. Drop tile in the bathroom for ceiling was odd. AC worked great and the room was quiet.

Came to check in at 3:50 but turned away and told to come back at 4pm. Encountered a cricket and spider, alive, in my second floor room; along with a dead spider in the unused coffee cups. On a positive note, the standard king bed was very comfortable and the vicinity was quiet. The patio outside the room was a nice feature. Our room was (presumably) wrong stocked with 2 shampoo bottles and 1 conditioner, so we didn’t have any soap for shower. Breakfast was two options for hot entrees with no refills and was dried out. The self-serve continental portion was well stocked and fresher. Overall mediocre property in my opinion due to the multiple inconveniences.

It's a great value. Room was spacious and clean, two TVs, comfortable bed and sofa bed. The pool and jacuzzi were crowded but that comes with the territory. Complimentary wine and beer for a couple of hours during early evenings. Complimentary breakfast as well. Downtown SLO is within walking distance. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. I would stay again.

Checking in and out was nice. Our room was a double bed queen. When we arrived we checked out the shower. The tub wouldn’t drain so needed to have maintenance come in and fix the issue. Had to ask the gentleman for cleaning supplies to disinfect the gunk that came out of the drain as he was going to leave the room with leaving the tub dirty Still didn’t feel comfortable after he sprayed it down and wiped it with a rag. We laid a towel in there when showering. The corners of the ceiling had cob webs. Breakfast was great! As well as the staff. Lefty was very friendly and welcoming. We kept receiving calls that we were making noise. When we spent very little to no time in the room. When we wouldn’t answer the room phone they would call our personal phone. We were not present in the room when they called.

My family loved it here. It’s really pretty the rooms are clean and spacious. The front staff are very nice and we loved the happy hour and evening grill options. I will definitely be coming back.
