Enjoyable stay! We recently stayed here and will definitely stay here again. The staff were amazing, our room was very nice with plenty of space and all the amenities. The evening BBQ meals and cantina were awesome as well! We were also very close to downtown for dining and shopping. Wonderful hotel!

The rooms are very large with separate living room. The bed is very comfortable, and the shower has a very strong water flow. The complimentary happy hour each night is a great addition, and the complimentary breakfast each morning is substantial with many choices. The property is walking distance to the Higuera Street in San Luis Obispo where you’ll find many shops and restaurants.

Quality Suites DTSLO - stayed

Quality Suites Downtown SLO is a nice property, with clean rooms, cooked breakfast included, and a great location for visiting the local university, downtown businesses/ events, wineries, or local beaches. The room was comfortable and clean, but the bed was decidedly worn (confirmed by sleeping in the center 'divot'). The shower was quite good and the included bath products were 'ok'. This is a reasonable place to stay when expectations are tempered, considering the nightly price (which IMHO is on the high side with a serious up-charge based on significant local university events (or seasonality), which unfortunately occurs in many industries these days. I would stay here again, but will also check other options in the local area.

Roadtrip up the coast, this may be the favorite property. Room was spacious and you can close the door between them if folks want to do different things. LOVED the happy hour. Needed a free glass of wine! After a long day it was also nice to not have to go off property for food as they offer an inexpensive bbq by the pool. Son loved the chicken sandwich. Will definitely stay again.

It’s a beautiful place to stay, but I noticed the bed sheets didn’t seem clean. There were stains on the towels and bed cover, and the pillows had an odor, as if they had already been used. I’m giving it four stars only because of the friendly staff, the beautiful rooms, and the great breakfast.

It is in a great location relative to both downtown and Cal Poly. The staff was really friendly, the grounds are clean and cute and it was really quiet at night. Highly recommend.
