Our family trip

Our stay was good! There was some construction going on. But other than that staff was ok. The hotel was clean. Our room was nice an comfy. The breakfast was simple but delicious.

Most hotels have complimentary EV charging, but this one just has a few ChargePoints. Pool is more of a shallow dipping pool and it gets pretty crowded as does the hot tub. Pet friendly (with fee) and a nice restaurant next door adds value. Room was nice and even had a beautiful view of the mountains. Friendly staff, and a nice breakfast as well.

As most have stated, front is under construction. $15.00 parking per day I was not expecting. It was waived when I completed. This fee should be disclosed

I had a one night stay at the hotel, and wish I had known ahead of time there was construction. Even though it didn't really affect my stay, nice to be notified, maybe give better rates. Biggest complaint was the noise-a barking, yelping dog off and on for an hour at 7am and no one did anything about it until I called the front desk. It was very loud, guests worried about the dog, and just not fair to people trying to sleep. My father in law passed away early that morning and I was just trying to rest and if you allow dogs, someone should monitor behavior of animals for other paying guests.

SLO La Quinta Inn by Wyndham

The Hotel was located in a decent spot. Near the freeway and close to downtown. It was clean and contemporary with good parking. It was pet friendly which was awesome, and lots of people had pets this trip. They have a restaurant connected to the hotel across the parking area with great food. They also offered a complimentary breakfast on the 2nd floor every morning. All in all, a great place to stay.
