Great location/uncomfortable bed

We enjoyed our stay very much. The central location to Arroyo and Pismo was fantastic. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spartan but clean. The bed was not comfortable so unfortunately that dings our stay big-time.

This is our first choice when staying in the Pismo area. We were in room 211, our first time staying in this room. We think this room may be right below the cafeteria. We could hear a lot of noise early in the morning, waking us up. Chairs or something being dragged across the floor. Foot steps. Would not want to stay in this room again.

The air conditioning unit was not working. Maintenance was unable to fix it. It was dripping water all over the carpet all night. They provided us a small fan and that was it. The TV wasn’t working either. The hotel was fully booked so we had no other choice but to stay and have a miserable night in sweltering, humid and smelly conditions.

The people next to us had a dog that barked and cried endlessly. Bed cover had something brown on it (yuck) The shower was dirty. We wound up just leaving around 3 am on last night because the room just wasn't good. We normally love this hotel chain but this one was just bad.
