Absolutely loved everything about YOTEL SF - extremely neat and clean, the rooms while small are functional and great if you’re solo travelling or are here for work. The quality of bed linen, towels, and cosmetics provided deserve a special mention. The staff is super helpful. What’s unique about YOTEL is the co-working space within the hotel - super convenient. The only downside is a sketchy neighbourhood.

The rooms were tiny and tidy, as promised. And a fantastic deal, as long as you don't plan to spend time in your room. Convenient location, near BART and buses. As a regular visitor to SF, I was still unprepared for the Tenderloin zombie factor: I asked the security guard to walk me to the curb to get an Uber at night — and I'm from New York! (During the day, I was able to walk to coffee without a problem.) Also, when I called to ask for a mini fridge and iron in my room, they said they would deliver them. When I asked at the "front desk" 2h later, they said they don't have mini fridges: I was speaking to someone in a call center, not on property.
