Hotel itself is great. It's just located in a very questionable part of town. We saw many drugs being used on the streets around the hotel, but felt safe enough to walk to and from the hotel to nearby establishments.

Ideal for us!

Our trip to SF was for a for a doctors appointment. We travel from Fresno for 2/3 appointments a year and have been for a few years. I always look for a reasonably priced hotel in the downtown area. We were very pleased with this hotel! More than expected! It had recently been remodeled and we found every thing wonderful. Our room was spacious, attractive and comfortable. A very nice buffet breakfast is included. They have an interesting and fun coffee machine that makes several different types of coffee drinks! Parking is free and so convenient. We need parking and having it included in the price is ideal. Many other hotel have parking fees, that can add a substantial cost to your bill. We were able to walk to dinner each night. Not a lot of choices close by, but we loved Brenda’s French and Creole Restaurant. We plan to stay here again for our next visit in April.

Great stay and there are so many places around here that are good. The little bakery at the end of the block is so good! This was great walking distance to Bill Graham Civic Center and we can’t wait to stay again.

Good location in the sense that it is close to a lot of restaurants restaurants. The rooms are just as pictured. Clean rooms. Staff was very hopeful and friendly.Only downside is that it is on the corner of an intersection so some cars can be a little loud.

Decent hotel for a 1 night stay

Nice hotel with free parking, room was clean and seemed newly renovated, breakfast was pretty good, but the mattress was AWFUL, basically a piece of plywood with a sheet on it. The shower also did not seal at the bottom of the door and all but flooded the bathroom with water every time someone took a shower.
