The hotel staff was wonderful. This hotel is located in walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. Would stay there again if we're in San Francisco again.

One of the loudest properties I’ve ever stayed in. The walls and ceiling are made of paper. We were up all night due to all the noises going on around us. Including what sounded like a furniture moving contest above us. From the moment we checked in to the second we checked out we heard what sounded like furniture being dragged throughout the entire floor upstairs, it didn’t sound secluded to just one unit. It kept us up all night resulting in a very sleepless night. The AC units are from the Stone Age and were extremely loud every time it kicked on. The staff were friendly and the location was nice but other than that it was not a good stay.

The location was great and close to attractions and public transportation. The room was small but on for our needs as we were just there to sleep. The bed was a little firm and the water pressure wasn’t great. The walls are thin so you can hear people talking and walking through the hallways. The breakfast was nice and having water as well as coffee available all day was great.

Vacation

We stayed at the Holiday Inn by Fisherman’s Wharf and were disappointed. The first room had a strong odor and dirty carpet, so we asked to be moved. The second room’s AC didn’t work, making it uncomfortable. While the hotel’s location was great for exploring the area, the poor room conditions and maintenance issues made the stay less enjoyable than expected.
