Another stay and another excellent experience. Love the morning breakfast on the top floor with gorgeous views. Comfortable beds, attentive service and a great location. So glad to have found this gem for future visits!

The location is special in the old town of Scilla. The hotel room with a small balcony and seaview was special. My only complaint about La Locanderia is the poor communication. From the moment we paid for the accommodation (2 months prior) we had asked where we could park our car but they never responded even when I communicated in Italian. When we arrived in our car we knew we had to leave our car parked outside the ZTL area and we called the hotel who came to collect us in their Ape. The driver told us our car was parked legally and we could leave it there. Unfortunately when we returned to our car we found an infringement notice. We have tried contacting the hotel since and of course there is no response. I can’t understand why the driver didn’t explain to us that the location was not permissible as we would have loved it to another location.
