They had construction going during my stay so it was less relaxing than expected. I really liked the fruit water downstairs and the cleaning crew.
The hotel was under construction. We were not alerted to this before booking, noise level was ridiculous. Table saws and hammering all day. Pool, gym and pool deck were all closed down. I was placed into incorrect room size, booked and paid for a balcony and city view, received neither. I was moved the 1st time to a correct room but the noise was so bad we had to move again. In the third room, the noise was still unbearable. 3 moves, three unpacking and packing again.
I complained multiple times that the water in my shower was not hot, it was never addressed or fixed. The photos online were very deceiving, had no idea the hotel was under construction and was woken up to loud noise daily.
Hotel was centrally located and rooms were decent and large loved the balcony. Entire hotel was recently purchased and undergoing remodel so no amenities barely a continental breakfast no pool/spa. Security parking is great available 24hrs but do not suggest large vehicle's
There is NO RESTAURANT, NO BAR, NO POOL, NO AMENITIES.
On top of that, they charged me $320 for
My Executive Suite but HAD NO such suite available AND then said because it was booked thru Expedia they are not required to honor the booking. Attitudes were horrible. Service was horrible, shame on Marriott BonVoy!!! They literally charged me $310 for a $145 room. Don’t book if using Expedia at all and don’t THIS HOTEL- False advertising.
We were not informed at the time of booking that the hotel was under complete renovation.
No amenities were available for guests. Construction was everywhere. Had to listen to jackhammers thankfully only until 4pm. Water was shut off one day for 4 hours. Only one elevator was working out of 5 of which the construction workers were using as well so long waits to get up or down. Our room was one of the newly renovated so it was spacious and nice. the air conditioning was very loud so much that it would wake you up every time it came on. The hotel is near the freeway so leaving the balcony door open for air wasn’t a good alternative either.
Location to restaurants and public transportation was the only plus about this hotel. The Manager Lilian tried her best but really had nothing to offer except for a late checkout. Don’t think I would stay here again even when the renovation is complete.
Great location. We walked from the hotel to the zoo and spent the day there, then back to Little Italy to take advantage of the myriad of wonderful Italian restaurants for dinner!
Construction and renovations in the hotel were really disturbing in the first two mornings during my stay. Somehow I was checked out the next day after check in, even though I was to stay there for three nights. I never checked out. Front desk said that they did not know what happened.
Stayed the night for a business trip and had a good time. Very comfy and close to a lot of nice places. Only thing that mad me sad was that the resturant was closed at time.
