This hotel is nice and staff was great. I have stayed here before and had a wonderful experience. Breakfast was way better few years ago. Now it’s not that great, not many options and was not the best. Other than that it was an overall good experience

Staff were really helpful, polite, especially those serving in kitchen dining area. We like the suite set up giving a little extra space than just bedroom. And while parking was extremely busy we always managed to find a spot. Great location for Balboa Park activities, cruises, and maritime museums, as well as loads of restaurants. Breakfast was great each morning and 24 hour coffee super treat, along with occasional dinner in evening!

Safe, clean, but loud and uncomfortable

The AC hissed miserably loud and we had to turn it off to sleep. Walls incredibly thin and there was noise in the hall all night and extremely early in morning. We got an accessible room for our elderly mom but there were no grab bars in the bathroom and floor was slippery so she struggled to use bathroom and couldn’t shower because of no grab bars nor bench in shower. The fold out couch bed was perhaps the most uncomfortable mattress we’ve ever experienced in our life… but - other than that it was clean, staff was amazing, breakfast was good. Felt very safe and friendly.
