San Diego Get Away

Then room was clean but there were things we weren’t fond of. The vinyl floors feel loose, the mattress springs pop and move every time you roll over or try to get out of bed. It probably needs replaced. There is no tv guide and the laminated card with the channels available do not match and are not even close to accurate. The shower and sink areas are small. The water pipes are noisy every time someone above us or to the side of us used water. The breakfast was okay but the exact same offerings all 4-mornings we were there. Usually a hotel will change it up a bit. The area is a bit sketchy and if you think you are staying at The Bay, you are not! You can’t even see the bay as it is a longs ways away and across the I-5 freeway.

I forgot my wedding ring and my earrings in the room, when I realized it, 15 minutes already passed, so I called the hotel right away and the front desk told me that housekeeper already turned them in. I was so happy and thankful to the housekeeper for her honesty

Room was good and clean. Only issue i really had was that the water pressure for the shower head sucked. It was nice that everything was within walking distance and there is a canes thats soon to open. My boyfriend was really disappointed because he wanted to go across to get some lemonade, but they had a sign up saying they were training. Parking can be a little cramped. I suggest going somewhere else if you are the type to be scared of walking down back alleys. I did see that they do allow pets and they have a area in the back where they can poo/pee. Warning to families that there is a club and adult store at the corner. I remember seeing reviews of parents complaining about it. But they dont bother anyone and kids should be in bed during the peak of their business hrs.

My stay was not good at all . Went in room with Ac not working .They offer to change room as we did . Then left to go have dinner and came back with water all on the floor . I have a autistic son who is legally blind he could have slipped and fell , fortunately he did not . Had to change room again so we did without making a big deal out of it . Then this room shower was not working properly so they came to fix it . With out for dinner came back and then come to find out the toilet does not flush. By this time i was upset called front desk ben came to help look a bit annoyed . I mentioned to him if he was the manger said he wasnt so i mentioned i was going go give a bad review. He came back said nothing was wrong with the toilet but he was touching something and flushing for a bit so maybe me saying i was going to give bad review he wanted to act like nothing was wrong and it was just us .Last but not least the tv was horrible static on mostly every channel.Overall i am very disappointed specially being on my bday week i just wanted to have a comfortable stay with no issues. Unfortunately i will never stay here again .
