Bizarre Toilet overflow

We arrived late due to traveling with toddlers so we didn’t check in till after 11 pm Saturday may 10th and when we checked in and when up to our room we opened the door and there was a odor it was a musty smell and we were too busy bringing our babies in to lay them down to sleep we didn’t have time to call the front desk and ask about the smell so morning time rolls around and we all get up to use the restroom and get ready to go have breakfast and while we were using the restroom and flush the toilet clogs and floods the rest room so we call the front desk and let them know it flooded and it’s all over the floor and they send some one up to un clog the toilet but there is still a mess all over the floor so I called the front desk up again to see if we can get some towels and cleaning supplies or some one to come clean the mess and they send a lady to clean it up and as soon as the mess is cleaned up my daughter goes in to use the restroom and shower and when she flushes the toilet it floods again and this time it’s bad it keeps flooding out of the restroom in the the walk way and then keeps going and keeps flooding into the hallway outside of our room so we called them up right away and let them know and they made arrangements for us to move rooms to be able to shower and get ready to go and that was nice of them but this was by far the most bizarre experience ihave had with staying at any hotel and on mothers day of all days with my little ones running around the room

Very nice rooms, had a mini fridge which is always a plus. The front desk was very helpful and even offered a change of room for us if we needed easier access because my husband wears artificial legs. It is very hard to find rooms that will sleep 5 adults, this one had two double beds plus a foldout couch bed, which my adult son slept better on than the previous nights hotel bed (in Vegas). The free breakfast was good and the property offers hotel towels at the pool. This was an excellent family friendly place to stay. I would definitely recommend it. The only slight drawback was the parking was a little tight for our minivan rental but somone with a normal size car wouldnt even notice.

There was no prior notice at check-in regarding the Wi-Fi being out of service. It was only after spending the first night that I asked about the Wi-Fi, and I was told it was broken and under repair. During my four-night stay, the Wi-Fi was not working for three days. The front desk staff responded as if this were completely normal, showing a lack of concern. Their attitude suggested a lack of proper training in customer service and hospitality.

The hotel was super clean. All staff was welcoming and friendly. Big full breakfast late into the morning was a huge plus. Also an 11 am check out was awesome. We walked through the nature preserve down the street to get to the metro. The walk was gorgeous during spring, though there were a couple shady people, so don’t do it alone. But the met was fairly close about a 15 min walk and we took it to little Italy and walked around the entire downtown area. Great stay.
