The lady who greeted us was very sweet and helpful. The room matched the description and had the amenities that were advertised. However, the room had a strong humid / musty smell, the air conditioning barely worked (not refreshing at all) and the shower drain clogged while we were using it. These are things we would have appreciated knowing before booking. Overall, our stay was okay, but these issues affected our experience.

Lovely place, really nice staff. There was a slight mildew smell of the room but it was a great stay! Would return!

The check in process was a nightmare. There were over 20 people in line at one point and the single from desk attendant was extremely slow. It should only take two minutes to check in. He was taking 4 to 5 minutes per check in.

Beautiful place to stay! Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Hot Breakfast was excellent! Staff very friendly! Atmosphere was very relaxing! Will definitely stay again!!!

We were pretty disappointed with this hotel honestly. With taxes and fees and all it was just shy of $300 for a single night and with no breakfast (which we knew, but still) and a $22 parking fee, this was a big spend for us. The hotel lobby is very fancy and updated and the restaurant looks swanky, but the room itself was fine. The carpet had a few stains, the walls and ceilings looked a little dingy, and the top comforter was worn. But the biggest disappointment was the bathroom. I am only 5’ 2” and the shower head was just tall enough for me to comfortably shower, but my over 6’ husband had to duck a lot in order to wash his hair and shoulders. And the bathroom was overall just old and although clean, not in great shape. For a $300 a night stay in Saint John (not exactly a particularly expensive city), I expect a good shower. The staff was nice and helpful but I was not thrilled overall for the price.
