"New hotel,good location,friendly,helpful staff"
Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay in this beautiful city. Great to wander around everywhere and enjoy the atmosphere without the noise and smell of traffic. Like all city breaks Food and drink can be expensive in the tourist areas but a few streets back the cafes and restaurants in the squares are very reasonably. Felt very safe wherever we ventured.j

"Great location"
Hotel is very close to Giglio vaporetto stop. Short 10 min. walk to St. Marks square or Accademia bridge. The hotel is, like everything else in Venice, old. Our room and the bathroom were small but the bed was comfortable and everything was clean and in working order. We had a small balcony overlooking the canal. The staff was friendly and prompt. Breakfast was varied and of high quality. Make sure you prepay on Expedia, paying at the hotel mysteriously brought the price up significantly.

"Great hotel, great location! "
Wonderful trip to Venice for husband Simon's 60th birthday. Great weekend, weather not as good as 10 years ago for his 50th, but mostly dry! Lovely hotel, great location, Dorsoduro, re-visited birthday lunch at Locanda Montin - only got to sit outside in their beautiful garden briefly as the rain came in, but go there - full of character and great food. Walked miles round Venice - in and out of little streets and through the many Campos - wonderful. We were looked after so well at Hotel American, what a lovely spot! Water taxi from Marco Polo airport to here was a wonderful way to approach Venice. Larry looked after us in the bar and at breakfast - went to so much trouble - hot soft-boiled eggs just because we mentioned them, great cappuccino, wonderful service and warm welcome. Super service from all - Marco recommending best pizzas close by - ristorante gianni, Zattere, other helpful information and booking our water taxis - Guiseppe serving us in the hotel, Elizabetta at reception, Yolande looking after our room very well. Complimentary water taxi to Murano and fascinating personal guided tour of glass factory. Close enough to main sights to see, far enough away from tourist hoardes and big guided tour groups, felaxed, chilled, locals, great location. Would stay here again tomorrow - we will be back!

"Exceptional location and hotel"
Set on the Lido away from the noise and crowds of St Mark's, the hotel is an ideal place from which to explore Venice. The building itself is beautiful as is its beach. The cuisine was sublime, but my greatest praise is reserved for the staff who did not so much serve you as looked after you. It was a truly wonderful experience and I would return like a shot.

"Beautiful garden setting"
This is an exceptional hotel. The location on Giudecca is ideal. The gardens are simply stunning. My only quibble is the breakfast. Don't get me wrong: it is ample and high quality but more assistance would be good. The terrace is a wonderful location for breakfast but every winged species known to man including ferocious seagulls will swoop as soon as your back is turned. One more thing: in the Bauer across the water prosecco is served at breakfast, a delightful touch. I expected the same here but the arrangements are obviously quite different.

"Perfect quiet location in Venice "
The hotel is directly behind the Academia and close to other art sites (Guggenheim, Punta del Dogana). There are also many small, interesting shops nearby as well as good restaurants that the staff can help you with. The room is beautiful and comfortable. Excellent bathroom--large, plenty of space, the usual amenities. Outstanding is the breakfast--best of four hotels on our trip. In warm weather you can dine outside or inside. We didn't try the dinner restaurant but drinks were terrific.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Rosolina hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
