Lovely aesthetics - breakfast on deck is great! Rooms pretty simple but comfortable. We asked for a twin rather than double but didn’t get it, but luckily the double was two singles together, but couldn’t move them due to fixed tables. Was able to move single bed to another part of the room.

Amazing location for everything in Rotterdam. Free coffee and filtered water. Comfortable room.

One of the nights my room was not cleaned and towels not changed however I called reception and new towels delivered

Great hotel, well located. Great amenities. Visually striking too. Beds are comfortable. Shower is hot ! If you're travelling with a friend please note that some of the rooms have toilets that are not separated from the rest of the room which can be uneasy.

Very central and I really couldn’t fault it!

I had a great stay at The James Hotel Rotterdam and would definitely stay here again. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and comfortable throughout my two-night stay, which was very important to me. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and much better than some of the reviews I had read beforehand. The location is excellent—right in the heart of Rotterdam and within walking distance of plenty of shops, restaurants, cafés, as well as the metro and tram, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. I also appreciated that the air conditioning worked well, especially during the warmer weather, making the room very comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and found this hotel to be a great choice for anyone visiting Rotterdam. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it, especially for solo travelers.

Noise at night couldn’t sleep and the rooms were quite thin walls So the neighbors doors opening and closing were quite disturbing at night

The room and location were great. Awesome food, we didn’t do the expensive breakfast buffet. I wish they would have had an actual gym with actual equipment. But all else was great.
