We stayed here for two nights. There was only one desk clerk that was friendly and helpful, the others we encountered were almost rude. We felt that the breakfast was not that great. One can order eggs by filling out a form near the kitchen door, and the chef comes out and verifies what you want exactly. (Which I did). We waited about twenty minutes and the buffet was getting ready to close. When I asked the "chef" where my eggs were, he said he didn't have a paper order from me, and I said I did and you and I reviewed it together. He said he didn't have it, and turned around and left. There is an extra charge for this, so at least we didn't get charged. The room was fine.

Great location and large rooms

A very nice place, clean, simple room, everywhere well maintained, friendly helpful staff. Nice garden to have breakfast in and the hotel is in a good location, just outside the city centre (which means it's quiet in the evenings) but only 5-10 minutes' walk from the centre (depending how fast you walk). The location also affects the price, which was very reasonable. The only thing we would have liked to have - in view of the unusually high temperatures - was AC but other than that, wonderful!

Hotel is right where you want to be if you want to be in the middle of old town Colmar. You have to pay for that though with parking about 1/2 mile away, real pain dragging bags. Staff was great and super helpful

The facility was fantastic…location, space, room 102 was amazing. We loved overlooking the courtyard. Our only complaint was that using the washer dryer was not easy and the directions not clear….the staff did the best they could. I would recommend having clear written instructions for future guests.

Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location with exceptional staff. Not all of the windows have fly screens and there were numerous wasps and other flying insects outside. Because of this I did not feel comfortable to have the windows open, even during the recent heat wave. Appreciate that air conditioning units cannot be fitted due to the age and character of the building but fly screens should be achievable. There was a fan in the room and this helped for me but even so, my laptop got very hot and would not charge. Later when moved to a cool location, it was fine. I would love to visit again but probably not during a heat wave.
