I would absolutely stay at this property again while in Rome. It was small and charming and perfectly located for easy walking to all the major sites. It also had a bus and taxi pick up within a block. It was a quiet area at night so it wasn’t loud or disturbing ever. Highly recommended the balcony suite! My only feedback was that I had requested a shuttle for airport pickup and drop-off and they didn’t follow up on the drop off so we had to order our own taxi the night before for a 7am flight out. They did give a prompt response and apology when I did make them aware of this oversight, so I would just recommend triple confirming with them if you need an airport shuttle.

The only thing that I would change is that we would have liked to stayed longer! Excellent choice for so very many reasons! If we get to come back to Rome, we will be staying here!!

On arrival we were a little concerned with the 5th floor location but were happy to see a lift (very small) but very reliable to take us to the hotel reception on level 5 where we were greeted by Josiah and Patricia who made our stay amazing. The continental breakfast was more than sufficient and very tasty! We had breakfast every morning on the terrace where the view was outstanding and breakfast arrived on time everyday of our stay. Room was small but adequate for a short stay (3 nights) and very clean.

Lovely central stay in Rome

Guest rooms were clean and tidy- with Josua and Stefanie extremely accommodating. We had 2 rooms and both had air conditioning. Josua and Stefanie helped with tips for sight seeing to luggage storage. The terrace is a nice perk too, everything is in walking distance. There is also a lift available to take luggage and yourself if you wish to the 5th floor.

We booked a room that specifically included a terrace with a city view, but the room we received had neither. When we raised the issue with Stephanie at the front desk, we were told that we had been given a “nice room” and should essentially be satisfied with it. When we asked further questions, she suggested we were being excessive since the stay was only for one night. She blamed it on the booking service (Expedia) but after speaking with them the issue was not on their end. The main reason we chose this hotel was for the terrace and view, so we were disappointed both by not receiving what we paid for and by the dismissive service. On the positive side, the location is excellent and the rooftop area has a nice view. If you decide to book here, just know there’s a chance you may not get the room you reserved, and the staff may not be accommodating if issues arise.

The room itself, though a bit snug, was very clean and updated and the balcony off of the rooms was a lovely addition! The location was very centrally located and we were able to walk to all of the sites. The entryway and lobby were very run down to the point where I was a bit worried we might need to switch hotels before I saw the room, so just keep this in mind. The staff is very friendly but only there from about 8-4PM and other than that you need a code to get in the main door so it didn’t necessarily feel the safest, but it was good enough for a 2 night stay.

The lady in reception, sorry forgot her name, was so helpful. We loved the hot tub on the rooftop. It’s a great location in the heart of Rome.

When you first enter the building for this hotel, it feels odd, the building is old and the elevator is questionable but safe. Honestly that’s all that I can say was bad about this property, everything else was great although the property is old the rooms are very modern and nice ( I will add they are a bit small). We got lucky and got room 2 that had a corner balcony so we were able to enjoy views from both sides of the property. The staff, particularly Joy, were extremely accommodating and friendly. They also were able to help me with a self check in with very clear instructions. As far as location the hotel is located directly next to some old Roman ruins that also acts as a little plaza were trams and buses arrive. All popular attractions are a 10-20 min walk and there is plenty of good food options around.

This is a little gem, Only seven rooms. Ours had a very nice balcony; ideal to drink a glass of wine. The roof terrace is amazing, an the service very friendly an personal. It is centrally located with a short walk to all major sights. Highly recommended!
