Great location, terrible property. Lift had been broken for quite some time prior to our arrival date but the property never alerted us. We are in our 70’s and had to drag our bags up 22 stairs to get to the front desk. There was no one capable of assisting us. The front desk ladies were very kind and understanding but unable to lift our bags. Our room was advertised as “superior” for which we paid extra. After dragging our bags up 22 stairs, we found the room was anything but. Broken refrigerator, no wardrobe or closet space to hang your clothes, dead bedside electrical outlet, very dim lighting in entire room and worst of all the room is directly above an Irish pub that had nightly live entertainment. Very, very loud, noisy room. We expressed our concerns to the manager who only offered a 20% discount on a future stay! Unacceptable. Would never stay at this property again. Do not recommend at all.

Long weekend

Room very noisy, as we were above and Irish bar and on the outside facing the street. The hotel provides ear plugs, however I brought my own gel ear plugs, and you will need them if you need silence to get to sleep. Staff at reception and at breakfast very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good In the junior suite, they provide coffee and tea making facilities, however the cups were never cleaned by the staff, and no replenishment of the tea and coffee once used.

Incredibly friendly staff both at reception and breakfast who were more than willing to help us out when we needed it (e.g. providing a fan for the room, making sure we were attended to at breakfast and giving local recommendations). The breakfast was an Italian spread that we both enjoyed thoroughly with enough variety for a picky eater. The room was clean and well decorated and we barely heard any noise from outside with the window closed. The room size was comfortable and functioned perfectly for sleeping and the odd pit stop. The location was good with a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro or around 20 to 40 minutes to all of the main attractions such as the Colosseum, Vatican City, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, etc. There was also a fantastic gelato shop right outside for those late night cravings and many shops down the same road. The only negative was the lack of soundproofing in some parts as we could clearly hear breakfast being set up (around 6:30AM) and some heavy construction noises from an adjacent building.

Great little hotel within walking distance of the train station. They arranged our airport transportation and it was timely and worry free. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They recommended wonderful restaurants nearby.

The hotel is very conveniently located right in the centre of the city very close to the railway station and downtown Rome but the biggest issue is that it is a small hotel located on the second floor n there was no elevator from getting the bags to the second floor - you have to take the stairs. The room was average - clean but no coffee machine in the room which to me is a big no. Moreover, the washroom n the shower are too small - I know rooms n washrooms are small in Europe but this was way too small.

Amazing hotel with professional and friendly staff. Check-in and check-out were smooth. The room was spotless and had all the necessary utensils. The location of the hotel is super convenient — most of the sightseeing spots are within walking distance, and the train station is also quite close. The metro station is nearby as well. The hotel offers free tours, and I highly recommend them if you have enough time. We paid for breakfast, and I never regretted it — it was delicious and had a wide variety of options. A great thing is that there was always plenty of food; even if you came at the end, you still had all the choices available. I highly recommend adding breakfast, as it will save you both money and time. Absolutely recommend this place! If I return to Rome for vacation, I will definitely book this hotel again.

I liked how the property was within walking distance of the various Metros around Italy. Furthermore, it was an affordable hotel that was relatively close to museums such as the Diocletian Baths.

This place is super friendly and has a great location. You can go to the train, metro, and bus stations in a few blocks walking. The main attractions are all within walking distance. The only downside is that the hotel is closed to a bar, and you can hear people downstairs and in the hallways from your room.

Good night sleep

Everyone has a different feature of a hotel that makes it great- for me- a great hotel provides a good night sleep when I am traveling for sight seeing. When we travel for pleasure, we are out and about all day and just want to crash at night. For us a hotel does not have to be fancy but just somewhere we can get a good night sleep. The bed was comfortable, pillows were comfortable and the lighting was conducive for sleep. Everything worked well. The hotel is a little dated but it was fine! The biggest plus for me, was that there was AIR!! Real air conditioning!! Rome was close to 100 degrees while we were there and we were outside sightseeing all day long. We were so tired at night and wanted to shower and go to bed- it was a special treat after a long hot day to have a nice cool room. I slept so well!! Who cares if the furniture is dated when the room is dark, cool and comfortable. We were all well rested and ready to go the next day! The staff were helpful and friendly! Overall a convenient hotel with a lot of character!
