The location could not be beat. Walking outside the hotel and seeing the Coliseum right across the street in front of you was stunning and exciting every day. There were 3 restaurants right outside the front door. The place was so quaint and clean. I loved the shower. It felt so luxurious after an extended, hot day sightseeing. Also, the air conditioning was wonderful. We had an amazing first visit to Rome, and a big part of that was this location. It was easy to get to and from everything we wanted to see. The Metro was close, we could and did walk to the Trevi fountain and the Spanish Steps. We took a cab to the Vatican and the Metro home from there. I would stay here again. It is a small boutique hotel with only four rooms, but it was perfect!

We only stayed one of our two nights. It was noisy from all the tourists and the other people coming in and out. There’s no place to keep or get basic things like waters without leaving and no one on site ever to ask questions. Then when you get outside you walk into a stream of tourists and people hustling goods.

Our view was amazing and Claudia and Roberto were super helpful. They helped us arrange transportation and stored our luggage prior to check in. Claudia is very responsive and answers questions almost immediately. Location is perfect! Great stay!

Hosts were lovely and easy to get ahold of and the property was located in the most walkable area of Rome. The location was PERFECT! With only one and a half days to spend in Rome, this was the perfect stay. My only negative feedback is that the city is LOUD and there's not really a way to keep the all-night noise out. This is no fault of the hosts.

Great view and location!

The rooms were comfortable enough. The location was excellent as well as the view. The elevator was sketchy. The hardest thing was the address/directions. They didn't tell us enough about how to find the place (such as which floor it was on). Also, it wasn't really a hotel ... just a group of rooms for rent.

Right across the street from the Colosseum. It was easy to get there by train. Staff was very friendly and walked through how to access the room. Felt safe.. place was very clean.

Don’t recommend. Charged more than agreed upon price. Never at property. Didn’t take passports. Helped obtain car service and quoted a lower price than I was charged by driver. Not reliable place to stay.

Pros and Cons, but overall a great stay

Nice rooms, and they were kept clean each day. AC didn’t seem to work great, but the window was easy to open to let in fresh air. We never interacted with anyone at the front desk, which was a little weird. Claudia was very responsive and helpful via WhatsApp, including videos of how to enter the property since we had to check in very late around midnight. Was the only place we stayed in Italy that required we pay the tax with cash. Was also the best shower we had. Breakfast options were limited to instant coffee, but there is restaurant at the bottom of the building. Is located on the 3rd floor, so steps got to be a little annoying. Elevator is a little retro and small so not super convenient to use everyone. Location is pretty solid, straight across from Colosseum and a short walk to the Colosseo metro station. Maps are a little deceiving though, as there is a hill with steps between the property and the Colosseum, so the walk is a little more involved than you might think at first. The views from the room are pretty good, with a view of a slice of the Colosseum and of the Temple of Venus. Not quite a panoramic view as property name suggests, but that could have just been our specific room. A little noisy at night, but that’s somewhat to be expected given how close we were to a popular attraction.
