After checking my email while on a cruise, I found out that my hotel had been cancelled due to ongoing conditions in San Juan, so I found Ciqala had two rooms left. My wife and I were treated very well by all the staff. The food from their restaurant, Eter, was very good and we were able to order and eat up on the rooftop terrace. The bar staff were friendly, courteous, and we had great conversations. We also enjoyed the rooftop infinity spa pool with a magnificent view of San Juan.

We stayed during the recovering period after Hurricane Maria. Hotel has its own standby generator to supply the power. It is extremely helpful as most area in San Juan is still out of power. The location is one of the best, a lots of restaurants near by. The staff are very helpful. The room is small but clean. The price is reasonable comparing to some other hotels with power supply.

The Plaza Suite was an amazing place to stay. Restaurants, convenient store, casino and pool. We stayed in a 2 large bedroom 2 and 1/2 bath suite with 3 balconies, full kitchen and huge sitting room. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Puerto Rico.

Millions of microscopic dinoflagellates create an otherworldly glow in Fajardo's Laguna Grande, one of Puerto Rico's three bioluminescent bays. Starting at dusk, kayak tours wend their way through a mangrove-lined channel and into the glittering lagoon. Fajardo is also home to the crescent-shaped Seven Seas Beach and the Puerto del Rey Marina, among the largest marinas in the Caribbean.
