"lovely room"
It was conveniently nice and close to a semi private beach which was amazing! Compared to other beaches around I loved having a beach to ourselves and the water being so clear and the sand so white! Drinks are expensive and nothing out of this world. We didn't get all inclusive because there are so many amazing restaurant options near by. Make sure you rent a car to get around, other than that pretty nice resort! P.S make sure you go and visit the Carabali ATV park, they are awesome and the tours are just as amazing!

"Beautiful resort on nice and quiet beach"
We spent a three day weekend at the resort to celebrate my birthday. The resort staff are so welcoming and accommodating. We received a complimentary upgrade from a king oceanfront room to a one bedroom ocean view suite with butler service. Happy birthday to me! It was simply beautiful. Spacious, well decorated. Well stocked mini bar. Refrigerator with enough room for some small personal food items. Espresso and coffee maker. Large living area with a sizable sofa and chair. Large flat screen TV. Full bathroom and shower. Large balcony with a sofa, two ottomans and a table for 4. The balcony with one sliding door from the living room and one sliding door from the bedroom completely faced the ocean. The bedroom was spacious with a large walk in closet. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Flat screen TV. Nightly turn down service (closing the curtains, turning back the comforter, putting out slippers, leaving something sweet on the pillow) was something I looked forward to every evening. The master bathroom was enormous. Two sinks, TV in the mirror, shower and tub more than big enough for two people. The grounds of the resort were stunning. Beautiful landscaping, sculptures, lakes, flowers, ponds. The pool was generous with ample chairs and cabanas. The resort never felt over crowded which was very nice and added to the overall relaxation of the trip. We did two private tennis lessons with pro Tucker. He was awesome and it was a great work out!

"Beautiful resort on the beach"
Excellent family friendly resort! Right on the beach..clean.. great staff... lots to do or do nothing.. whatever your vacation plans are. Only bad thing.. this place is far away from everything. Cabs are ridiculously expensive! We used Uber and cut the price in half... BUT.. Uber is not allowed to pick u up at front entrance. You have to take the hotel shuttle to the golf clubhouse and they pick u up there...really not a hassle.. just mentioning...Also.. the rainforest is a pain to get to.. most cabs won't take you .Uner wouldn't go either... and the ones that will charge $75 per person.. either book a tour or rent a car ahead of time.. all the cars were sold out when we decided to go. We took a $15 cab to the Kioskos.. 10 min away.. that's a collection of restaurants and souvenir shops on Luquillo beach..I enjoyed it. The breakfast buffet is a must! Delicious and not crazy expensive! Lunch at the outdoor bar/cafe 5'oclock somewhere is delicious also! Dinners were just ok.. not great.. 2.5/5 Overall .. loved the trip.. would stay again!

Rio Grande is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Rio Grande, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Rio Grande hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
