Clean and comfortable hotel in a very convenient location. The continental breakfast had good options. Only disappointment was the pool being closed for maintenance, which we didn’t know in advance. Otherwise, a great stay with the kids.

Excellent stay in a beautiful location & property. I just wish the pool & spa were ready. The morning breakfast was also good . I t had choices for even the most selective eaters . We slept through the train sounds with no disturbances.

Bathroom Mobility Not Safe

We stayed at 4 Marriott BonVoys this past 2 weeks in BC. Your hotel had lovely staff. You were the most expensive and had no pool or working hot tub Who ever designed your mobility bathroom did a below than par job. The shower head moved poorly because it was made with cheap components Big open space in a bathroom is a kiss of death for people with balance problems. 1. Skinnier bathrooms with holding points are a must. 2. Walk in showers need to have a glass door with a ridge at the bottom so the bathroom floor doesn't become a small pool. A wet floor is a slippery floor-this leads to your guest possibly slipping & falling. We stayed at 2 high end hotels on our trip and they were equally bad in providing a safe bathroom. Our population is living longer. With that being said you will be having more guests who will be needing shower facilities that will be safe for them. Use real people with balance/mobility issues & care givers when designing your mobility friendly bathrooms. You will understand my frustration when you are a caregiver/wife or husband. There is a lot of pressure for us to provide a safe environment for our loved ones Kindest Regards, Yvonne
