A true escape in the middle of Hollywood. Cara Hotel was a genuinely pleasant surprise, and I would absolutely stay here again. From the moment we walked in, it felt like a complete getaway, the kind of place where the city noise just melts away. The whole hotel is built around a peaceful central courtyard with a calm reflecting pool, shaded by olive trees. It has a warm, earthy, minimalist style, with soft neutral tones, natural textures, and lots of greenery. It feels more like staying at a stylish friend's California home than a typical hotel. Our room was just as calming, with light wood floors, crisp, soft linens, and a beautiful stone bathroom. It was simple and uncluttered but still felt luxurious in all the little details. The metro station is just steps away, and it's only two stops to Hollywood/Highland, which made getting to our show at the Hollywood Bowl incredibly easy. Being able to skip the traffic and parking made the whole night so much more relaxing, and coming back to the quiet courtyard afterward was the perfect way to end the evening. If you want a stay in Hollywood that feels tucked away and restorative but still close to everything, Cara is it. Highly recommend!
