The A/C was cold, the bed was clean and comfy, and the shower was hot. It had some small issues but nothing that highly inconvenienced me though. The front desk staff were so friendly and very pleasant to talk with. I attended the local WWII Weekend and really only needed somewhere close to the airport to rest and recover at for 8 or so hours and this place was perfect.

The room was not clean. However, the guy at the front desk, who worked at night and at day and made coffee and waffles, was so nice and friendly, that he made up for whatever the place was lacking.

You get what you pay for. This is a cheap seedy motel. The bath tub was covered in cigarette burns, that says it all.

Can’t say anything stands out as positive. I have stayed in cleaner places for less money. Foreign hair in sink and bathtub did not look welcoming without shower shoes. Pillows very “fat” my back still hurts from angle my head was at while sleeping.

You get what you pay for! Was it horrible, no. Was it great, no. It was a place to sleep & cheap. The rooms are super outdated and smell like cigarettes. They actually offer rooms you can smoke in which really surprised me. The housekeeping isn't great so bring some Lysol wipes to do a once over. The location is close to everything. You drive up the road and have literally EVERYTHING you would need.

Cheap but safe and clean

If your needs and expectations are for a high end motel this would not fit the bill. But sometimes we want an affordable place to stay that is safe, clean and comfortable for sleeping and bathing, etc. And this property completely fits the bill in my opinion. The two staff members I met were friendly and clearly interested in my satisfaction. If you're passing through this area and want a place to call "home base" as you conduct business or see the nearby sites I'd reccommend The Kings Inn as an affordable option.

The room dirty I didn’t even stay and non refundable the bed dirty , refrigerator dirty the floor dirty and I told them and they take it as a joke do not waste your money here

Well was not clean! Bathtub a mess and Mats dont come up but in first 1 mat came up a little and was all MOLDY. ASKED FOR NEW ROOM AND TGAT MAT DIDNT COME UP WENT TO to cleaner so we could soak it and clean it before taking a shower after a 4 hr drive.. so the OLD SAYING IS CORRECT GET WHAT U PAY FOR. BUT THE MANAGER DID GET THE CLEANING LADY TO REDO IT BUT.... i woukd hope that ppl would take tine and pride in there jobs and that place could be ok

Decent stay in Reading

Front Desk was nice/easy to deal with at check in. The room & bathroom could have used additional cleaning and had a unique smell when entering. Beds were fairly comfortable. Check out was a bit of a challenge as nobody was in the office at 8:50AM and a phone number was left on the door to call. I tried calling twice & received no answer or voicemail. Someone finally showed up to the office and was able to check out at 9AM. Depending on expectations, I may or may not recommend staying at this property.

My husband and son stayed for 1 night and had to strip the beds due to cigarette burns on one of the beds and what they could only assume to be seamen stains on the other bed. They went to BigLots and bought their own bedding. Completely discusting and unexceptable! Would love a refund!!
