"Request the Lighthouse"
We loved the Oyster Bay Resort, but I think that was because we had the most beautiful room in the Lighthouse. The staff was not very friendly upon check-in, so we were nervous. Once we got to our room (a 3 bedroom condo) everything changed. It was beautiful, had everything we needed, and we could not have been happier. The Lighthouse has its own fitness center, pool and hot tub, very nice! Housekeeping kept things spotless. The activities desk was helpful but actually didn't always give us the best answers we found, and the front desk was never staffed with anyone who seemed interested in being in a good mood. We will come back for sure though!

"The Perfect Experience!"
This was our first stay at the Guanahani, after having previously stayed at another perfectly lovely hotel in St Barth's, and we could not have been happier. The staff were exceptionally helpful, pleasant, quick and accommodating - from locating and delivering our lost luggage, to renting a car, making (and changing) dinner reservations, supplying us with water and a cooler every time we left the property, etc. Special shout-outs to Simon at the reception, Julie in the main restaurant, and Tibo, one of their drivers. The housekeeping staff also were unusually unobtrusive, yet always had the room in tip-top condition, with fresh towels, waters, coffee, etc. The property itself is beautiful and although large, felt very private. We enjoyed sitting on our terrace at the start or end of the day, looking out to a little private garden, to watch the visiting hummingbirds, turtles, iguanas, salamanders. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, the pool is sizable, and the beach lovely - although the water is not deep (perfect for children and water sports!) There were not too many kids there when we visited, and I could see it becoming less serene during school holidays. There is a full spa as well as tennis courts and a smallish workout facility. Lunch at the restaurant on the beach was great as well.

"Nice room, excellent customer service"
The first thing that impressed me was the customer service, starting with the free airport shuttle with a driver offering a cool bottle of water on a hot day. The check-in and restaurant staff were just as friendly, and very helpful with directions to the beach and places to go in Gustavia. My room was fantastic...a balcony with comfortable seating that over-looked the ocean, semi-outdoor shower/bath tub room, also with comfortable seating, the king size comfortable bed, air conditioning for when you want it and a wide sliding door to the balcony for when you prefer natural air, a mosquito net over the bed to keep the nighttime bugs at bay. My room was situated near the top of the hill so there was always a good ocean breeze to be had. The food at the restaurant, especially for dinner, was excellent and the sommelier made good recommendations. Colombier beach is a short hike away but wear good shoes since there are some steep sections with loose stones/dirt on the descent to the beach.

"Nice hotel on the beach"
Overall good experience at Holland House. This location is great for a relaxing vacation. We stayed for 5 days, four of which there were no cruise ships docked. This made for a nice quiet experience. When there are cruise ships around, the beach is a bit more crowded and the peddlers do not leave you alone. Keep in mind, many of the shops on the boardwalk and on front street only open when cruise ships are docked and close early so this may not be the spot for someone looking for a party. The only slightly disappointing part was the food in the area. Much of it was touristy. Had to take a taxi to other parts to get good local food.

"much needed rest n relaxation spot"
Bon Jour! Excellent view of the beach. Cozy room with Starbucks coffee! Closer to Philipsburg than expected. Restaurants were good. It rained everyday but the sun came right out. So suntaning was everyday. If you go, Juliana at the concierge desk was great and Jean, Malcolm , Francis and Nick were great too! The entertainment was good ,I even won a bottle of champagne! Gotta take the boat ride to St. Bart's ! If you are interested in timeshare Dawne was very convincing and nice. Only complaint, the mosquitoes n gnats were plentiful.. Take your bug spray!! Can't wait to visit again!! Caribbean Blend in Phillipsburg had the BEST island food by far. NU Love restaurant's food was great too! Always something going on. Happy hour and complimentary drinks!.. Plenty of water sports for all!

Quartier Lorient is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Quartier Lorient, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Quartier Lorient hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
