Watch your credit card statement after you checkout because you will get an ADD-ON charge of $1.50 for every night you stay even if you paid in advance via Expedia or some other hotel website which states all taxes and fees included for the stay. The charge is placed on your credit card after you check out for a bogus service they never provided and they even lie to your face when you're holding a checkout receipt of zero balance. This is called THEFT, you can't line your pockets hoping nobody will notice or contest such a small charge. I will be contacting my Credit Card, Expedia, Small Claims Court and IOWA Attorney General, as this con job you're running will cost you dearly! Ya see I'm retired and have nothing but time on my hands to correct this scam for anyone who ever fell prey to your little con job. I don't know what Ambulance Chaser told you could get away with this, but they were dead wrong. A little quick math for your bogus add-on charge: $1.50 a night x 30 days in a month x 20 rooms = an estimated $630 a month you're stealing from your Customers.

NEVER GOT MY STAY

I was DENIED my stay that was booked on Hotels.com (and your Customer Service line runs through prompts but never connects you with a LIVE representative). The Manager refused to honor the booking because I do not have a credit card. I offered several reasonable options given the last minute circumstances, I offered $300 cash, in addition to holding my VISA debit, and/or a personal check. He began shouting that I had to pay and then banned me from the premises.

I was not expecting a whole lot out of the stay but oh boy. The property is clean and in decent condition until we got into our room where the shower felt like we were going to fall through and the toilet and the toilet seat moved as you sat on it. One of the lights in the room could be a fire hazard as it flickers if you touch. I will say that the staff is very pleasant and helpful. Probably won't stay here again but thank you to the staff for making the stay manageable.

While checking in, the person at the front desk charged our credit card for a deposit (which I understand) but he also charged for the room; which was already paid for upon booking. When I raised concern about that, he argued with me that I didn't already pay; then all of a sudden my original form of payment was refunded. So, that should have been my first clue. While the room was clean, only ONE electrical outlet worked in the entire room. Overhead lights were also broken. Then my flight was delayed, so I needed an extra night's stay. The night clerk (the same one who checked us in 3 days prior) extended my stay without issue. However, when I went to reactive our room keys in the morning the manager of the hotel demanded another deposit and payment. Which I had already paid for the night before. On top of all of that, the pool/spa area was pretty gross. There was trash left behind, a dirty sock in the pool, and a really gross dirt/oil ring around the hot tub. All in all, we will not go back to this property. The one thing that was good was that the room itself was clean.

Checkin was easy and nice. Our sink didn’t drain at all. Breakfast didn’t have a lot of options and the power went out in the wall and took forever for someone to come. Rooms were clean good area you could walk to hyvee fast and fresh. I felt safe

I appreciated the clean room and comfortable pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, we stayed when they were changing TV providers so we had absolutely no TV for four day. The breakfast was minimal, but with the affordability of the hotel, we didn’t expect a grand breakfast. Overall, the room was clean, safe, and comfortable.

For the price it was a good stay. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. My negative rating is because I was overcharged. Even though I provided information showing this, I was locked out of my room and had to pay an additional amount before they would allow me access to the room that I had already pre-paid through Expedia. I understand the difference between a "pending charge" and a "completed transaction".

Was okay. When we got there first thing they told was that there was no tv available since they were fighting again with the cable company. Classy!. With rooms being what they are come on and man up and make your customers happy. They should have offered a discounted rate. Breakfast could have been way better choices were cereal bagel or waffle. Staff was neither friendly or unfriendly. Ya get what ya pay for I suppose
