Wasn’t a “beach” hotel as advertised, no beach amenities at all, difficult to even get a sunbed by the pool as everyone reserves them so early despite hotel “policy” not allowing it. Sadly cannot understand how it’s rated so highly.

Our stay at Vertali was made truly special by the outstanding customer service. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our vacation memorable. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we felt cared for and appreciated. A very special thank you to Kiki, whose kindness, professionalism, and positive energy stood out every single day. She consistently went above and beyond and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another room number. I’d also like to recognize the incredible breakfast team. Their friendliness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Exceptional service is what transforms a great hotel into an unforgettable experience, and the team at Vertali did exactly that. Thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable. We will consider back again and create beautiful memories at Ventali.

Very helpful and friendly staff especially Katarina ! Great position away from all the hussle and bustle yet within easy walking distance to the old Town to get into the thick of it. Happily stay again!

The staff are super friendly tip top service we had a sea view room with hot tub was superb,the breakfast options are great dinner options was ok not all the food was to my taste but it was still good with great entertainment and service at dinner. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel great beach to relax or go into the water 10/10

This was a lovely hotel and the staff were courteous, extremely attentive and very kind. Have to mention Manos who went out of his way many times to help us and nothing was too much trouble for him. He was an absolute star and we are very grateful for his help. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful beaches and very close to Chania. Our room was very clean, a little dark due to not getting any sun on the balcony, but this did keep it cool. It is a small hotel and we felt the only negative was it was very quiet at night, but many people would prefer this anyway. The area itself is fairly quiet at night as many people go into Chania. There is a bus to Chania a couple of minutes walk round the corner, it can get very busy. Noticed the sign on the bus said 31 people seating, up to 59 standing so at times it is not the most pleasant journey. Bus journey takes about 15/20 minutes. The pool area was very well managed, better than i have seen at some other hotels. There was never a fight for beds as the hotel staff remove used towels and replace with fresh new ones, so there was a turnover all day. It is adults only which makes it very peaceful. Breakfast was ok and there is something differant to try every day. You order from a menu rather than a buffet situation.

Room was always clean and fresh. Shower excellent. Didn't like the idea of sink being in bedroom and not in bathroom. Bar excellent with friendly service.
