"Beautiful Ski Resort with fantastic facilities!"
The front staff was so friendly and helpful to us. We checked in early and yet they upgraded us to a brand new renovated suite ! So wonderful ! the heating was from the floor so it felt very comfortable, the suite is very clean and new ! They are preparing for the 2018 winter olympics. the ski slopes was just outside the hotel, it seemed that this hotel is the closest to the Ski house , where you'll get all your tickets and ski rental equipment. There's also a office for assistance for english speaking guests, who helped us get information. We enjoyed our stay very much ! Will return again !

"fair price hotel near skiing place"
First, it's relatively cheaper than those hotels next to skiing place. Because it's not that close to the skiing place, you can still book the room a week before. From my point of view, this is one of the good things. clean (though you can see it hasn't been refurbished quite awhile), great services, free shuttle bus to skiing place. But they will charge you additionally on toothbrush (though I found some Korean hotels also do the same thing).

"Close to ski location "
I cannot reach the hotel by phone for few times and their email address is not easy to find. I try to reach the hotel through email but they take nearly a week to reply me which I had already check-out. It is not easy to go from airport if you arrive later than 8pm, the only way is to take the latest 3hrs bus to Wonju and change 1hr taxi, the cost is quite high. Luckily they let us to check-in after their mentioned "check-in time". For the room is big enough can quite comfortable. Nearby facilities is good, specially ski location and the water area for hot spring. I will recommend this for family trip if taking a earlier flight.

"A great family ski vacation in South Korea!"
We have been to the area four years in a row and stayed at different hotels. This was, by far, the best experience. The Swiss Chalet is cosy and inviting, with great customer service! The owners took great care of us and supported with ski rentals, ski passes and other activities in the area as well. The fact that that the Chalet is a bit away from the main resorts is not a major issue as there is drop off and pick up service in the morning and evening. One other major plus with the Swiss Chalet is that a quite good breakfast is included every morning.

"Amazing brand new hotel, hard to access by foot"
The hotel itself is brand new, it's clean and the room has everything you need. It was perfect for 1 person and is good also for a couple. The design is minimalistic and they have done an exceptionally good job there - I aboaolutley loved the room! Accessing the hotel was hard. It's about 1km from Phoenix Ski resort so i had to drag my suitcase for almost an hour trying to find the hotel on the icy road in order to find the hotel which is not on any map apps, and doesn't have a sign. Unless they arrange a shuttle to the ski resort, I won't recommend this location for people without a car. The staff tried their best to communicate in English and were helpful. They did give me a ride once to the ski resort, but when I checked out I had to order a cab which cost me 10,000 KRW for 1km, same price as it took me to go back to Seoul...

Pyeongchang is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Pyeongchang, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Pyeongchang hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
