"Boutique hotel with great service in mid town "
No pool and no beach but that's all the negative we can say, Hotel Is centrally located to old town, steps from pier that take you to the islands, close to many restaurants, rooms are clean and have AC, important for many US travelers , great ( although not a lot of variety ) breakfast with great coffee. Sister hotels share property with Adriatic guests. You will love it if you want a boutique hotel , not more than 20 rooms in this property.

"Modern hotel with style"
The hotel is quite lovely with excellent rooms, food and staff. It will probably be the top on for our two week visit of Croatia.

"Outstanding value for money. "
The hotel is clean and well run and largely able to cope with full peak season capacity. The breakfast is mountainous and a bit of a scrum but it works. The pool side gets busy and they run out of towels but you can usually find somewhere to sit. The beaches are great. The bus journey into Pula is a bit of a drag- you might think that there would be enough demand for a courtesy bus as there are not always taxis. You can eat in reasonable restaurants a short walk from the main building if you don't want the dinner buffet. All in all it's outstanding value. Recommended.

"Wonderful Hotel"
One of the most wonderful hotels I have ever stayed in and that's including The Park Hyatt with Opera House views in Sydney. The food in the restaurant was superb and the sommelier was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. At the moment because of building work on the way you cannot walk around the shore into the old town but the hotel is providing a free shuttle bus. The pool was easily accessible with rails and steps into the water and the beach, although all pebbles provided great swimming opportunities.

"Lovely hotel"
Had a fantastic time at Park Plaza Arena hotel. From the moment we arrived till we left the staff were fantastic. Always helpful and nothing was to much trouble.. A quiet hotel with plenty of sun beds to go around, in fact it's the only hotel we have been to that you don't have the usual 6 am fight for a bed. If sitting by the pool is not your thing then there is access to a small pebbled beach with crystal clear waters, although you will need some shoes to get in and out. Perhaps not a hotel geared towards families with young teens but you do have access to the other Park Plaza hotels on the peninsula with all their facilities, which are a 10 min walk around the coast where they have plenty of things to do, tennis, basketball, football, trampolines etc Food wise ,We went half board and have to say the food on offer was always of great quality and varied. Always something to chose. All in all this hotel was great and we would go back in a heartbeat..

"Lovely hotel close to all amenities"
2nd visit to the hotel , has been effectively refurbished since last time and found all staff including reception staff friendly and helpful. Lots of sunbeds unlike other hotels which you can place in shade under trees . Lovely pool area and restaurant/ bar. Easy to reach beautiful old town of Rovinj with its plentiful bars and restaurants. Beautiful forest walks next to hotel together with many excursions on offer .

"Nice room but very noisy as in centre of town."
We stayed here 1 night as start of our trip around Croatia. Convenient to airport and we wanted to see the Amphitheatre so picked central hotel. Room and facilities were fine but the noise of people returning and banging front door and the bins beings emptied in the early hours did not make it conducive to a good nights sleep!

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
