The only thing this property cares about is trying to sell you something. Everywhere you go you are harrassed about buying something. They constantly hound you about joining their travel club, buying their premium experience, buying spa services, booking excursions, upgrading dinner plans, and on and on and on. You can't even walk near the beach without people trying to put birds on you so they can charge for pictures, or someone trying to sell you a fishing trip, or banana boat rides, or something. It is constant an annoying. The beds are horrible. The mattress is about 3 inches thick and super worn out. The a/c barely worked. We lost power several times.
They should let people know that their beaches are not usable. I k own they can't control the seaweed but they could advise people. The place smells like sulfur because of the rotting seaweed everywhere.

The staff was friendly and helpful. One problem I had was that I won $100 at bingo night but it was extremely difficult to use my winnings. It wasn't cash or even a gift certificate. I had to log on to their website, create an account, which was a super complicated process, and then some of my points didn't even register. Also, I could only use the points in very limited circumstances. I couldn't even use them in the gift shop. Either give out a user-friendly gift certificate or don't offer to have winners at bingo.

TRS is a nice resort and lots of entertainment. However, the room was a bit outdated for a 5 star resort. The jacuzzi hot water wasn’t working and when supposedly was fixed it took over 3 hrs to fill up. Also, you can see that it was old because the metal areas was worn out and can see the discoloration. Furthermore, the toilet sit was cracked and in the shower you can see the mold. It smelled damp although it was clean and there was tiny ants in the room. The staff was very nice and the food at the buffet was great. The pool was dirty due to the heavy winds full of leaves from the palm trees. Beware of the staff in the resort that promise you a snorkeling adventure; I had mentioned the staff I was interested in snorkeling and how much it would be. Well the staff in the hotel told me yes they have it and to be ready early morning the next day. I was ready with my family in our bathing suits all to be brought to the Traveler’s Plan building, being told that’s where they will take us snorkeling. First, they took us on tour around the hotel and offered drinks. Which I wasn’t interested in drinking specially early morning and trying to get us to sign up to the traveler’s plan. I was very angry that we were lied to and waisted 5 hrs of my day. Those people were so pushy and I had it when I got up to walk away. Beware of them. I complained to the manager Cindy and she apologized for it. I actually felt scammed by the Travelers Plan Palladium. The manager I have to say was very nice

Somehow, this hotel has figured out a way to add positive reviews from employees? paid reviews? We have stayed all over the world, and there is no way this place is a 4.8/5 or a 9.2/10 ! a true score range would be: 3/5. and 6/10 read some of the reviews, they are worded strangely. in dozens of reviews, an English review list 4 or 5 properly spelled names per review of employees that were great. You never see that! something is off here and its the first time that a bogus review score fooled us into staying at this very average resort!

Seemed like the staff just showed up so they won’t get fired some staff was good but overall there attitude could’ve been better the property is old need to be updated and there is no type of entertainment the casino is a rip off food is average at best also it’s like three other resorts all on one compound half the restaurants was closed the beach was full of seaweed there was flies and nats all around the bar on the open liquor bottles only one side of the resort was lively the other side looks abandoned they don’t care and it shows there is a lot of smoke and mirrors at this place the spa is terrible the gift shop is terrible it’s just better resorts for your money honestly there AC is suspect might work might not stuff is falling apart

Acabamos de regresar a casa después de haber pasado una semana memorable junto a familiares y amigos. Todo perfecto, justo como lo deseábamos. Atención de primera desde que llegamos. Check in fue rápido y fácil. Habitaciones impecables, amplias, con buen gusto decoradas y muy cómodas. Exquisita comida y gran atención en todos los restaurantes. Todo el personal es muy atento pero hago una mención especial a Cecilio y Jersin en el lobby, a Juan en Las Torres y a la mejor mayordomo, nuestra Noris. Gracias por tus atenciones! Noris the butler was great. Did everything we asked. Sea was disappointing as couldn’t swim in it as was polluted with algae & seaweed & small dead fish. Breakfast buffet was great as offered lots of choice. Secret pool was below standard as water level too low and couldn’t filter properly. Quality & of cocktails and service at this pool varied considerably. One barman was poor but others great.
