Great beach, best bar is the one behind the beach snack stand. Nice property, easy to access all amenties. Food is the best I've had in Dominican. 3 pool areas and friendly staff. Italian and Japanese restaurants were hands down the best of the a la cartes. Would definitely return especially for the deal we got, solid 4 star resort.

Not a 5 star resort. Food is bad, in ALL of the restaurants. We tried the buffet for 6 days and 6 different a la cart restaurants, all bad! How can you mess up deserts? Sometimes you go to the buffet and they won’t have sodas, of they do is watered down and if you are diabetic, you are out of luck, diet soda is RARE throughout the resort. About 50% of staff is rude or/and not helpful. Bathrooms throughout the resort are dirty. We had to clean and defrost the fridge in our room, it wasn’t cooling properly because was so full of ice. The sliding door was also stuck! But the best part of all is that I’m pretty sure they have bedbugs! On night 2 my husband and I were attacked and woke up full of bites, I will spare you from the pictures, thankfully my kids slept on a different room and were safe! I spoke to 3 different people that worked there and besides a “sorry” and some “oh my god” nothing was done, we paid the house keeper extra to change all the bedding, still woke with new bites next morning. Beach is full of algae, but I guess they don’t have much control over that…

The resort area is large and well maintained. Excellent water park. Lots of entertainment for families with children. Different shows every evening. Lots of activities for children during the day too. Clean pools, convenient location. We didn't have time to visit all the restaurants, but the best ones we visited were French, Japanese, Italian, and American! Excellent service and excellent cuisine! What I didn't like the most was the Mediterranean cuisine. The salad was made of rotten (or frozen and then defrosted) cucumbers, absolutely inedible. And we had to wait 1.5 hours for our order. Room service - 5 on a 10-point scale. Overall, the impression of the resort is good. I hope to come back again.

I’ll start off by saying that this is NOT a five star hotel. So if you’re looking for luxury/five star, you won’t find it here. I’m not one to complain or to sweat to the little things, but I felt compelled to leave an honest review. When we arrived, we were put in a basic family suite - the room was in absolute horrible condition. It was dirty, There were visible stains (red?) on the pillows and bedding, There were ants and spiders inside the sheets in the bed, and the sliding glass door would not seal/close completely, so there were bugs getting in as we were on the ground level, the shower leaked bad, coffee maker was falling apart (literally LOL).. The room and everything in it was dated and it was clear that it had not been updated in a very long time, or properly cleaned for that matter. Lucky for us, we were able to upgrade into the “premium section”. The new room was clean and it was very apparent that this side had been updated recently. We loved this section and were happy with the new room as it was clean (Yay!) and ocean front so the ocean view was nice. Overall this is definitely a family resort and there were tons of kids, so my son had a blast at the pools and at the water park. As anywhere you go, Some servers were better then others, and provided really great/friendly service (Ana at the Macoa buffet!) however the service at the bars was spotty at best. The drinks differed every time, never tasting the same (quality) and it seemed like most bartenders trie

Bueno días el hotel fue bueno la atención del personal las habitaciones cómodas pero no hubo cepillo ni pasta de diente de cortesía ya que es la primera ves q pasa ya q es mi 8 ves en república dominica eso es una lo siguiente el restaurante brasilero muy mala cálida y no es como lo pintan en las fotos o en las página solo 4 clases de carne incluido dos de pollo y todos le he barón la culpa al nuevo chef el personal se disculpo pero eso es lo q había y en el buffet de desayuno un trabajador q atendía estaba de mal humor y hablando cosas q nadie le había preguntado de ahí todo lo demás en los 4 días q estuve muy bien
