My husband and I have been going to Punta Cana for the past 25 years and this was the second time going to this resort. The first time it was for the New Year's. Everything was great and espeally the food. The food was the main reason that we went back but I guess "all the bells and whistels" that I was looking forward were just for the new year. This time the food was like in every other resort. As for the beach, this time around was like no man's land. The sign for "Aquamarine" was gone and random people will come and seat at the beach. I do not have a problem with that if they were quite but some had the music blasting and some others will take the best shades while the rest of us who paid had to walk around.

Overall me and my best friend had a great time. The buffet had good options for breakfast lunch and dinner. The pool closes at 6p so I wasn’t too happy about that and the beds a really hard. Other than those 2 things the resort was beautiful. They have entertainment every night. We loved the fire show.

We stayed at the adults only area. It was busy but not rowdy. Room was a little dated but was clean. Buffet food was good and very well seasoned. The other dining options had a set menu and what was offered was well. Spa, highly recommend! The staff, from the Acuario buffet, pool side service, Juan and the whole pool bar members, housekeeping plus the shuttle drivers were FABULOUS!

The restaurants were decent. They were not accommodating to complaints. They placed me in a room near trucks that were running and honking majority of the day. I asked for a room change and they told me I had to reach out to Expedia for any complaints. The beach was quite dirty.

I likes the theme aquamarine. The food could be better. The greek restaurant was awesome. The pool could be cleaner had alot of film near the edges. The alcohol was not top tier. Aot of parties and activities. They need a better music play lists. Good time but needs some improving.

I did not like the people who were trying to sell things everyday before breakfast, lunch and and dinner. These included massages, trips, packages etc. Food options were great, there were many varities and options for everyone.

I loved the variety of foods and the options to burn some calories at the gym or taking a walk around the resort. I loved the pool, activities, sea and the breathtaking views. My room wasn’t properly cleaned, my feet got dirty when I walked barefooted so I wore slippers throughout. I saw very long hair on my bathroom floor even without my prescription glasses. Lastly, there was no way to lock the balcony door while I slept, didn’t make me feel safe.

I throughly enjoyed my stay… and happy that I upgraded to Ambar, the room was nice and spacious. I went during seaweed season and didn’t get to enjoy the beach. However the pool was amazing and you will always find a seat. I do think they can step up on the entertainment but they did a good job. I also got really sick by the time I arrived home. Not sure if it’s a viral infection, or something else … ended up in the ER. I had to take a good amount of time off from work due to getting sick unfortunately.

Place was beautiful. Nice and clean. A little bit outdated. Not enough plugs in the room. My husband is a painter so he noticed some cheap work in the rooms. He had to fix the toilet handle that kept coming undone from the chain in the tank. But other than that, the grounds and property were clean.
